Overrated but not terrible

Great features for the most part. The genius playlist feature is difficult to use, the shake to shuffle feature is not very responsive, and the pedometer is extremely inaccurate. I tried it many times placing it on various parts of my body, and it just fails miserably in comparison to my other pedometers. I would not recommend buying it for that feature. The video camera is a nice edition, but is in an awkward position, so I constantly have my fingers in the videos. I still like it better than my second generation ipod, even though it is not compatible with my car stereo that I bought specifically for the ipod feature. Overall, not a bad buy but is overrated in comparison to Apple reviews and marketing.

It's not an iOS device, but it does a heck of lot and is WAY smaller

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I've owned the 1st and 3rd generation Nano prior to this. Each one I think was revolutionary in it's category of smaller hand held music player. Screen sizes were always small, but still the quality of the screens was top notch. The only disappointment I had with the 1st gen was it didn't have enough storage. My 3rd gen Nano similarly wasn't big enough to hold all my music. After the 5th gen came out I was jealous of the onboard camera and video playback ability (which the 3rd gen also had, but not enough space to store movies). But I sat back and watched as Apple trashed the Nano with the current 6th gen model, that people are turning into wristwatches. So I finally made the hard decision of going out and getting the older more desirable 5th gen model, with the maximum 16GB of storage. And this in my opinion is the best Nano ever made. It is so thin (much thinner than the 1st and 3rd gen models, narrower and less tall than the 1st gen). And 16GB is more than enough room for my whole music collection. I still have 6GB left over to record movies or playback movies I sync onto the device.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

It's my first Ipod. Best thing I ever bought. Amazing features, small, compact, color is fantastic. Love the camera and voice memo!!! Pure greatness, exquistie item. Every apple lover must have. I like everything about this product. The look of it is far better than other Mp3 player out in this world.

ipod review

The ipod works fine, but won't hold a charge. The seller did not erase all the songs, videos and pics so it took a bit of time to get it ready to load with my own stuff.

Get a new iPod, or iPad, or any Apple product

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

My rating is based on a used iPod I bought on eBay. I encounter a lot of problems. My suggestion, don't try to save a buck here and there, get a new one, unless you are a tech genius.

Good product but a little bit too expensive

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good product , but a little bit bit expensive for the features, i think you pay the apple rather than the product.

Apple iPod nan 5th Generation

The ipod's are know for freezing up while charging the device. I have found the only way to fix this issue, is to let the battery die nd hope it doesn't do it again.

The device is light and will video cam.

The downfall is, the device will not take pictures.

Also the device makes it very hard to take videos from device and save them onto a website.

If you need more info let me know.

Apple iPod nano 5th Generation Silver (16 GB) MP3 Playe

No, I would not recommend this product.

Tricky to figure out ..... Thumb control is not consistent.

Good support and manuals available on line.

A very small music player and organizer.....

For a few more bucks also consider the full size Ipod

Fair Condition, Better off buying new

No, I would not recommend this product.

Beat up, missing components, completely full of original owners data. fair overall. Buying new better overall, used price not worth it.
