Wanted to try out the Apple iPhone and not have to over spend on their pricey and expensive devices, hello.

Wanted to try out the Apple iPhone and not have to over spend on the newer or updated iPhones as we ALLLL too well know their costs are the highest in the cell phone industry for what they offer! It seems to function well on or with most apps. A couple of issues that are well known: one is the factor not being an android OS format there is NO "Voice to Text" typing features on the Apple iPhone 4 until you get up to a Apple iPhone 5 or 6 and I reallllly miss that highly important feature!; another issue/problem is the "NO menu" button as it for the most part has the simple "one button" feature to go back vs the three button/function access on the Android systems, right. Seems relyable, compact and built well simplified features but really NEEEEDS an app and/or update to voice-to-text in areas or features when messaging, facebook, email and the like ESPECIALLY WHEN THE KEYBOARD KEYS ARE SOOOO SMALL; and it takes forever to type out any messages, HELLLLLO!Read full review...

Too Old for Apps

Although there is nothing physically wrong other than the cracked screen (which was in the description), Apple doesn't provide much support. The apps in the App Store require a later version (9 or above) of iOS than this iPhone 4 can run (highest is 7.1.2) and Apple Support doesn't really know much about the iPhone 4; so they don't provide much useful advice. In fact, I made more progress once I decided to ignore their statements and simply do things my way.Read full review...

A decent product and really the PERFECT size, but I'll keep my Android

I bought this phone for my daughter, but she decided she'd rather have the 4s with Siri and extend our contract. She has it and is VERY happy.

I transferred my number to it for a day and a half, and though it was pretty seamless getting there, setting it up and updating all the apps, getting back to my Droid was really a pain. Why can't Apple keep the basic stuff, like voice mail, compatible?

Bottom line is that Apple has designed a very functional phone that is really just the right size and fits comfortably in my hand or pocket. But it's a little too delicate and "foo-foo" for my tastes, and waayyy too user cuddly. IMHO, it's overpriced for the capabilities as well. Did you know that the insurance and deductible on these phones is higher than the droids? Go figure. For the right person, it's the right phone, which is why I indicated I would recommend it. Just not for me.

Thanks to the Verizon support team, I'm back to my Droid today, and there I will stay.

It's got the 'cool factor' for sure.

Having used an android phone for a couple of years, I was curious to switch gears and see what the iOS had to offer. I have to say that I really like this phone. Granted it is probably completely outdated, being a whopping 2 years old, but for me it is nicely equipped. I am still learning the thing, and so cannot definitively comment on the functionality, but the only thing I miss that the android had was the ability to speak a destination to the navigator rather than having to type it in. Much easier to set your own songs as ringtones on the android, too. To be fair, this is my first all touch screen phone, but this phone has a cool factor to it that my android phone just couldn't touch. I do like this smaller screen that the huge 5 phone as I don't play games or watch TV on the thing. Perhaps an all touch screen android or Windows OS would be a better phone, but for now, I like the iphone 4.Read full review...

It really is an amazing piece of technology, I highly recommend it.

I have always been a dedicated Apple consumer ever since I got my first iPod in 2003. When they first came out with the iPhone in 2007 I told myself I would not give in to the frenzy. I instead got a Blackberry which I loved but after a few weeks I got sick of it. I then switched over and got the iPhone 4 last year and I vow never to get a different brand of phone again. The iPhone is sleek and so much fun to use. You can never be bored with the millions of different apps the App Store offers. The iPhone is also really easy to use and it really can do anything you need it to. At first I thought it would be too difficult to type on because it is a touch screen and the keyboard seems small but the screen is sensitive and I haven't had any trouble typing fast on it. There also is the autocorrection which is good and bad, if you mistype something you can continue typing and it will automatically correct itself, but sometimes I type things that get corrected when they don't need to be. My iPhone has never froze, slowed down, or caused me any problems like my Blackberry did.Read full review...

Disappointing

Aesthetically, the phone is pleasing. Thin and compact. The features, on the other hand are a little disappointing. I am a former Droid user, and the apps and features that come along with the Droid market and operating system are far more vast and better. The battery life is okay. But, I browse the Internet often and that tends to make the battery lose juice quicker. The keyboard is a pain to use unless it's on it's side. This is a problem to me considering certain apps and sites don't allow you to use the sideways keyboard. I also can't seem to figure out how to set a caps lock when typing. Another issue is that when refreshing my mail, I get a message saying my password or user name is wrong even though I never change the information or mess with the settings. I'm also not a fan of the fact that I can't use my own music for ringtones like I could with my droid. The navigation is terrible, and most of the apps out there are garbage too. The weather app that comes with the phone stinks as well. Many times the temperature is off by five or more degrees. There are decent ones in the market though. I suppose the ease of use in whole (other than the keyboard) and the security features are pretty good. I guess all in all, I feel as though I basically just paid for a name. I think I may be going back to Droid.Read full review...

Great phone and definitely worth the money!

I purchased this Iphone because it looked like a great deal and to my surprise it WAS! You rarely find deals and when you do you better jump on them. The features were precise, exceptionally well formatted and easy to use. I would say the only downfall to this particular phone would be the camera. The camera had a flaw but since the phone was practically new I had it sent back to Apple for a quick fix. I love this phone and would definitely recommend it to anyone!Read full review...

Very sleek and styish phone with a good audio experience!

Apple has come up with a sleek and stylish smartphone. It has all the bells and whistles that most techies are looking for today, HD display, cameras (front and back)and very good audio from external speaker. There are a huge number of apps available for download, many which are free in fact. I have to say that I am disappointed in the lack of memory expansion. Although the battery charge provides very good useage for most, I still would've liked the capability to change it out easily.Read full review...

The IPhone won't let you down!

I absolutely love this phone!
Usually I'm really hard on my electronics, so I decided to spend a little more so I could respect my phone more.
So when I was looking around, I fell in love with the idea of an iPhone. And let me tell you, when I finally got the phone, I was definitely not a let down! It's simple, fast, and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this to a friend who wanted a smart phone. The battery life lasts about a day, but that's pretty good for a smart phone.
The only thing that I don't like about this product is how breakable it feels. I bought the ZAGG invisible shield and a phone case to protect it though, so I feel a little bit better about using it.

Lightweight with great pixels!

I always loved Apple. The iPhone 5 was the biggest upgrade apple made. Changed a lot of features and made a GREAT impact for Apple users.

The only bad things is the camera. Apple could of slapped a bigger sensor or megapixels on the iPhone 5.Read full review...
