I have owned my Iphone for about a year now. The Iphone is a cell phone Apple came out with. It started as a Ipod or music player and then turned into a phone that could play music, take pictures, videos, surf the internet, and text. Every few months Apple makes a new one comes out that’s better than the last one. The Iphone 4s has all the same features listed with some extra brand new features. You can download apps, install updates, and create your own phone set up for you.
When I first received my Iphone I knew it would be a nice phone. It was the newest one out and was being called the best one out. It worked very well for me and has held up very well for me. I would give this phone a 6 out 10 for a star rating.
The pros of the Iphone 4s are that its fast all around. Internet, calling, and texting. You can bundle apps into one category to save space. Your home screens can be an endless amount with every app you need at a finger touch. You’re able to have pages loading while on a different page. If you were on the internet and got a text message you can switch between them without exiting.
The cons of the Iphone are the size. The size of the phone was hard to adjust to for me. My last phone was much larger. The screen is only 3.5 inches, the body is thick and rectangle. Also Apple doesn't have the keyboard swype. Swype is where you drag your finger key to key and it will type for you. It made texting much faster and easier. Those are the only three flaws I did not like on the phone.
Changing from Droid to Apple was a big difference. The size of the phone was everything to me. Going from 4.5 inch screen down to a 3.5 inch was a big difference. I did not like the shape of the phone because I was used to a thin long phone. The Iphone 4 has a awkward feeling while it’s in your pocket because of the thickness. That is why I rate it a 6 out of 10 stars.
Apple has recently come out with the Iphone 5s which is now larger, longer, and thinner. It now has the features I wished I had with the Iphone 4s. It also has really updated its features with new lock pads, Icloud 7, camera has more megapixels. Everything was redone to compete with the other phones. Before I was dead set against getting another Iphone, now that the new one is out I am unsure when my update comes whether or not to get Iphone or Droid.
I originally bought a Droid because the iPhone was not available with my carrier. I originally did not like the Droid because I was so used to the iPod. The android market and system has come a long way since its inception...oh two years ago.
When the iPhone was finally available for my carrier I dropped my Droid and got the iPhone. Right from the beginning I was dissapointed. Don't get me wrong. Its is not a bad phone pretty good actually, but once you Ger a taste of android its hard to switch. Firstly, the iPhone is way too small. I prefer the 4.3 screen of razor. Also the android app market is much better and has better selection of apps. I do like that there are some apps I have a choice of using rather than the so system imposed application; such as music player or web browser or text messaging.
After I got the new 4s I gave it to my wife and purchased a Droid razor. I have been loving every minute of it. Not one single complaint...except I wish there were better accessories such as a charger case.
First we had numerous issues getting straight talk to take these phones. Only ended up hooking up one. Second less than a month the one we did hook up quit. (and yes the battery was charged) the second has issues with that center button getting stuck and not registering to go back to last page etc. So with all the hassle we just want our money back for both. Hoping to get that ...
Beware! AT&T have a policy of not EVER unlocking their phones for other carriers. I had to jailbreak this phone just to get the ipod functions and had to upgrade to IOS 5.01 when trying to unlock with a gevey sim. (phone "bricked")
There is no way to unlock IOS 5.01 at the moment making this an expensive Ipod touch. (I cannot use the phone function even though AT&T can't supply a service where I live)
Why apple and AT&T think they can stop people using technology that was legally bought from their customers is a mystery to me.
The iphone was received in a good time frame, but we almost right away started experiencing problems with the phone soon after activation if you are making a call it hangs up the first time you make it, it takes several attempts before your call will go through, and its not the carrier I Have an iphone and can stand right next to my daughter and my same call goes through 1st time! not sure I will ever purchased another electronic from ebay!!
1) a description of the phone "New" does not correspond to reality. films included were not, packing headphones was broken. dirt on the headphones from his ears). No scratches, but there is little dust around protrusions
2) a terrible, horrible packaging. just a few bags with air from one side of the box. free phone located inside the premises
I can not really rate this product as it did not work with my cell service provider, I was told it would work with any GSM Network, which was untrue, the IPHONE for itself is a great phone if you can use it, mine was advertised as unlocked when in fact it was not, so beware of what you purchase, I finally got myself an IPHONE 4 from the APPLE Store Factory unlocked, and working very well...it may have cost me more but was well worth, not having the agravation of gettin an issue resolved of which EBAY was instumental on getting the issue resolved....EBAY will definately look out for the Buyers, I have been buying from EBay for many years and it seems like all of a sudden I have been having problems, and they all stem from trying to buy a IPHONE 4...so all I can say is make sure you are checking things out before you buy...I have not had any other problems with over 400 purchases on EBay....there is always a few out there that misrepresent their products...thank you...
I've seen others and the phone looks beautiful but, isn't there always a but? I can't use it because it was locked when the original owner upgraded the software. I went to my local AT&T store to see if they would unlock it and they refused to talk to me. They were rude, ignored me, told me to wait my turn (I was the first customer in the store), and I left, probably never to return. I found the upgrade placed the phone in the never can be unlocked category - until the new Gevey chip comes out - I'm waiting! If you get one of these phones that are unlocked DO NOT UPGRADE when asked by the service if you want to - Otherwise, these are really nice.
the iphone didn't get any reception at my office, so i couldn't receive or make any calls. I had to sell it for a low price and buy a new t-mobile android phone.
Not the best device out there. Has server antenna problems and has left apple with another problem to find a solution for. Overpriced. Buy a droid x and get more capabilities minus face front video chat at a lower price. Speaking of videos chat. ATT&T's network is'nt even strong enough to push it wirelesssly. you need to be connected via WIFI.
Overall this is a upset. A multi million dolla company such as apple should have thought things through. They rushed this revealing to keep up with verizon but only fell behind with problems.
