Unless you need the shiny new model, stick with the iPad 1 or 2.

No, I would not recommend this product.

I personally own an iPad Gen 1 16GB, a iPad Gen 2 32GB, and now i just got the 16GB of the New iPad, and let me just say, i am not impressed.

The only thing going for the iPad 3rd Gen is the screen, dont get me wrong it is beautiful, BUT not worth the money.

I still prefer my Gen 1 iPad over this thing, if i could i would return the Gen 3. It is well overpriced, sure you get a better processor and screen, but honestly there are no apps that need this kind of power. barely any apps have exceeded the need for the iPad 1, some need an iPad 2.

out side of preference, it performs well. just like all the iPads before it.
it seems a little too thin for comfort, i feel like im going to snap it every time.

Just as my iPad 2, the first one i got had a dying home button on arrival. by which i mean it takes many presses of the button to register a true hit to it.

The camera's quality is still too low to be worth it on this device.

Great displat, iOS sucks.

No, I would not recommend this product.

The ipad would be great except for one glaring flaw: file system access is very poor. This makes it extremely difficult to get data on and off of the device, and it's nearly impossible to get ipad apps to recognize files once you do get them to transfer.
Jailbreaking helped, but only a little. And if you don't have wireless access, you're pretty much at a standstill, no matter what you do.
OTOH, the retina display is awesome.
I will probably save up for a macbook pro with the retina display, and recycle the ipad.

Apple is Good!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Hello, ordered 2 of these units. One unit charged right up to 100%, the other took double the time and is still charging to 80%. I thought I got a pretty good deal until I saw the same unit $20 cheaper from the same retailer. Fell kinda offset and know its my own fault. I buy a lot on Ebay and always consider myself a savvy shopper. Not this time. Retailer got their $. Apple is Great "." I should have spent the time like I usually do.. :(

Absolute garbage

No, I would not recommend this product.

It's the worse piece of junk that I've ever bought. I returned it. Tried for one week to get it to do what it's supposed to. Nothing would work. Couldn't get the setup to work from the getgo. If you try to get Apple to help, forget it. They are as bad as Microsoft. They want to charge you for any kind of support. The unit is heavy and cumbersome. I think that is why there are very few of the third generation models for sale compared to Gen 4 or even 2.

Just an overpriced toy...

No, I would not recommend this product.

It's worth to have if the price would be 3 times lower. I wouldn't enrich Apple just because they have created a nice user interface.

Gift appreciated

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I bought this iPad as a gift for my wife, she enjoys it very much, except that it gets very warm to the touch, don't know why!! I have an iPad but it does not do that.

Don't waste your money

No, I would not recommend this product.

It was ok I thought the 3rd generation would stand out from my 2nd and it didn't. I found it to be a waste of money.
