Lipstick on a pig! Adams put a great shaft on a horrible head.
Always used Titleist - you get to use what the best players use. After seeing positive reviews for this club I decided to see if this could kick my 909 fairway out of the bag. Having fantastic luck with Diamana shafts I pulled the trigger on the XTD with the Fubuki ax fairway shaft stiff with a torque around 4.0 like the diamana in my 909. The XTD didn't work for me. It's long off the tee but stinks off the fairway. One dimensional. I wanted to keep this expensive club in rotation but the 909 just shines everywhere. Adams discontinued the club just days after I ordered it and just a few months after its release. Customer service said they were filling existing orders only and getting ready for a 2013 model release. I believe Adams sent this mistake to an early grave because it stinks and I will never buy Adams again. Stay far away from this mistake!Read full review...
Long and Straight.
This club is hot! I only got to use it a handful of time because I live in Minnesota and the weather has turned for the winter but it was amazingly straight and long. The ball flight is penetrating and the miss hits seem to correct themselves before getting too off track. I used to think only certain brands were for me (callaway, taylormade, titleist) but I believe this is one of the best club I ever owned.Read full review...
Longer, and faster ball speed off club face than other brand 3 woods.
The Adams Super XTD fairway wood [3-14.5 degree] is excellent club for all skill levels. the Fubiki shaft [stiff] is firm with little torque and quite responsive. The club squares up easily and double slot design from Adams provides added ball speed off face of club and added carry distance. Would recommend over Taylor Made RBZ, titleist 913 and Ping g-25 [would consider newest Adams Super SL XTD , but like shaft of last year's club [Fubiki] as more responsive.Read full review...
great club super long
love this club replaced my old 3 wood after one session on the range. Hit this three wood twenty yards farther than my old three wood easy.

Great Club, I like the Fubuki shaft which is very responsive and ball jumps off the club face. I am hitting this 3 wood about 220 in the air which is long for me!

this is an awesome clubs. it goes very far and very straight. the fubuki shaft is awesome. the titanium head is fast and forgiving.
Not happy with it
Was so excited to get this club but after using it I am really not happy with it. Less control then I expected and not as good of a performance. Would return it if I could

I have had a lot of fun hit this club on the range but have not played with it yet, when I HIT ON THE range a crowd gathers around wanting to hit this wonderful club.
