If you are new to Vegan cooking or have been cooking Vegan for a while, this book will add to your ingredient knowledge and expand your cooking and eating experience! I’ve already tagged numerous recipes to make in the near future. This book is a good one to add to your kitchen library. I have about 5 Vegan cookbooks that I carefully selected and they all compliment each other. The recipes are easy to follow and use mostly common ingredients, which is a big plus to me. I would definitely recommend this book.

the materials with which the book is made are good quality and the book is set up from the very basic concepts to the full recipes. It is very useful for someone like me that is learning how to cook. Cooking vegan can get overwhelming especially if you are not a skilled cook. The book helps to break it down in easier concepts/steps.

This book is filled with tasty recipes that appeal to both vegans and omnivores. My husband has enjoyed several of the dishes, and he was hesitant to eat a meal that didn't consist of meat and potatoes. In addition to lots of yummy recipes, the authors also explain some basic techniques for roasting and grilling different types of vegetables, which is very helpful to someone who may not have experience with veggies like leeks or fennel. They also cover different cooking methods for grains like barley and quinoa and provide the reader with a list of foods to always keep on hand for delicious vegan meals. Through the recipes in the book, the authors show that veganism doesn't have to mean bland, flavorless beans or veggies.
This book is awesome! For Beginners to advanced cooks.....the recipes are easy to understand and create and delicious! Be sure to read the first few chapters if you are new to the Vegan World, as it will help guide you through the process of materials and what you will need to stock your pantry with. Some items may take a few trips to different supermarkets to find, but once you have stocked up on items, you will be good to go! Isa and Terry focus on just about every type of dish type there is.....from quick fix meals to more detailed casserole dinners. What I love about this book is how they talk about certain types of foods that are not common to most American recipes.....like Yuca Root and Tapioca Flour. They also have several Shows on their website (Post Punk Kitchen) http://www.theppk.com/shows/ where you can see how they create some of their favorite Vegan dishes like Sushi, Chocolate Cupcakes and Sweet Potato Crepes. My favorite recipes from this book are: Grilled Yuca Tortillas Nori Sushi One that wasnt in this book but should be tried is their Pumpkin Pie Brownies! Warning though.......they wont last thru the night.....they mysteriously disappear!Read full review
My husband and I are new to eating vegan and this book is a great introduction. I only wish there were color photographs of every recipe there are only a few in one section of the book.
