Scope was so far from zero i thought it was broken. That being said after 300 or so rounds i finally got it sighted in. That being said its the legendary scope you hear about. Crystal clear glass and very low amber glow. The fiber optics are the way to go if you want a bright recticle. This scope is unique in that you can go fast aquisition with both eyes or distance with one eye. Very rugged construction and never needs a battery. Im assuming its around four years old as your adjustments are done with a screwdriver. The newer models can be done by hand. The scope was in flawless condition except for whom ever was trying to zero it had marred up the adjustment screws. Definitley worth 780$ i paid.

I have 34 years of military or security contractor experience. In my opinion, this scope offers an excellent balance between optic quality and combat sturdiness. The ACOG, like any tool, is best selected for the intended job. This model does what I need it to. The features that were important to me were the bullet drop compensator, the fixed sites on top, no fiber optics to be broken by rough use, and no batteries required to illuminate the reticle at night. The rifle I have this mounted on has a heavy barrel, and is accurate to greater than 600m. The bullet drop compensator on this scope gives me an instant aimpoint without guesswork. I find the optics to be exceptionally clear, which is the true difference between better and lower quality devices.
Nothing much to say, if you ran one of these before then you already know. Bombproof construction and perfect reliability. This one has the old school cross reticle with the circles at range instead of just crosses. Tritium is at its half life, but still a perfect daytime scope.

This is a great product (as are most Trijicon products)!!! It has an iron sight on top for close engagements, while the 4x scope is fully capable of using with both eyes open. This allows for taking shots at game while they are moving. I have not had this scope for long, and I have already dropped two wild boar with its excellent accuracy! Having an optic on an AR platform, it needs to be able to hold up against use and abuse of environment, situations, and just getting banged around. Unlike later ACOG scopes, this one does not have the fiber optic cable for day light illumination. It only has night time tritium based illumination, which means you are free from needing to be concerned about a battery! In addition, this particular optic has a bullet drop compensator for M855 62 grain FMJ/BT penetration rounds used by the US Military and NATO (SS109 under NATO designation). The land that my family owns flanks a large bayou, which is a breeding ground for non-indigenous wild boars. These feral boar cause extreme amounts of property damage, and crop damage every year. They also out compete indigenous game for food. This scope allows me to hit with precision any boar I come across, and at any distance up to 300yds.+ I highly recommend this scope for anyone using a 14.5" to 16" barrel on their AR platform, and no disappointments will be found. I have not gotten into AR competition shooting, but I do plan on doing so in the future! This scope is definitely a device that will make a good shooter a great shooter! This is definitely a "you get what you pay for" item! That means you get a scope that will put you on the next echelon of shooting skills!Read full review
Trijicon is head and shoulders above other manufacturers of similar products. Saying I am impressed is an understatement. I recommend their products to any shooter. John 8:12 too bad the military made them take it off.
