This movie, along with Amistad are just made to go together. Together they tell parts of the story the other missed. Alfrie Woodard narrates this production and she does a wonderful job in it. There is another DVD I have in our library about the Underground Railroad that she also narrated wonderfully. There wasn't a thing I didn't like about this production. I am very happy I purchased it and viewed it. I don't know why, but I have been fascinated by the history of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and Civil Rights for the last few years. Together, this production and Amistad tell just one little story in the vast history I just named.
