It gets hot and does a thermal shut down. Keep it cool and it is an awesome tablet. Seems to be fairly tough since this is my 5 yr olds. I think the getting hot is a design flaw since others do that too. It usually does it if you've been playing games on it for several hours straight not all the time

The battery itself is very good but in my Nextbook it did not like the protection board on this replace battery So I had use the protection board off of old battery which would go dead in a few days with the tablet turn off After I changed the protection board to replacement battery every thing is working good now So if you put the replacement battery in and either does not want to charge or it will not turn ON you will have use the protection board off of your old battery but be very careful doing this ——— not to slip with the soldering iron and ruin the protection board or have battery go up in flames I should know I have had it happen to me before

This is a good product. I bought it to replace a battery that went bad in my Nextbook 7.85" tablet. It is working fine again. I am now able to charge my tablet again and it lasts for a few hours of use before I have to recharge it. The old battery would only last about a half hour or less.

I just can't say enough about this tablet . We bought 2 at Christmas and they were great. So we bought 2 more for our other grandchildren. They rate right up there with the kindle fire not the kids version. Very user friendly for all ages.
