I purchased the Janome MC 7700QCP used on eBay. I was a little worried about how it would arrive, but when it arrived it was in it's original box and most of the accessories to this machine had never been used! It sews like a dream, I love the speed and the reverse, that stops when it says it will, not 2-3 stitches later! I haven't had time to really do any major sewing on this machine yet, but I have had fun playing with all the feet, plus extras that I have purchased. It is so easy to program the stitches, you really don't have to look at the instructions after you do it once. Lovely, lovely machine. It will be with me for a long time!!
This is my absolute "dream machine". Been sewing for over 55 years on machines of all kinds and have a collection of vintage machines. Still an avid sewer at over 70 years old, this is the ultimate machine anyone could ask for. It does everything, and with just a small learning curve, has become my best friend. I love a full rotary hook machine for it's speed & precision and the choice of stitches is amazing!

Have used it for 2 quilts and free motion quilting, quiet and with out a hitch. Only small complaint is the self threader not the best design it seems to pull out a very small loop through the needle. If you do it to fast it will cut the thread. Well worth the cost though. Would buy it again in a minute.

A few years ago, I purchased a Janome 6500 and loved sewing on it. However, I missed the availability of a "free arm". Then, I traded it in on one of Janome's combination machines and regretted the loss of this fast machine, that cut the threads so neatly! Recently my combination machine has not been working well, and I began looking at my options. Since I have owned Janome machines for many years and still owned 2, I began researching the models that followed the 6500. I decided the one that met my needs the best was the 7700, so I decided to bid on this one. Upon it's arrival,I was delighted to discover that not only did it appear to be in mint condition, but I discovered in practicing various stitches and methods of application, it definitely lives up to what I had read in the description! It is a joy to sew on! (And Yes, this one DOES have a "free arm").Read full review
My mom LOVES the machine. She’s been quilting up a storm. Thank you. I was nervous to spend $900 on eBay sight unseen. But it worked out great. Thanks
