Good cookbook if you like to cook. I don't have a lot of the common ingredients on hand, but will still probably use it for some recipes. I'll probably search for a cookbook that's a little easier ingredients to find and less preparation. This has a lot of soups and salads in it and desserts are mostly fruit types. Still nice to have around:)
it has some good recipes. however some ingredients are hard to find. not exactly "cooking made easy." i would have liked to see easy, quick recipes for a family on the go. these recipes are good, but complicated.
The glycemic diet is a great way to clean out a lot of the processed and unnatural foods in our diets today. Having a simple, straight-forward resource for personal cooking is great. It also shows that it's really not that hard to eat healthy AND enjoy your meals.
What a great book for eating healthy and tasty. My fiancee loves this book. She went to the health-food section of the grocery store and bought a little of everything. She wants to try every recipe in the book! I never thought I'd say that I actually like Golden Carrot Soup!
I was looking for more GI recipes. This book has some good recipes. There is a good mix of types of food.
