EGO batteries are relatively expensive. I can't compare quality to other brands, as EGO is the only brand I have tried. I have gotten about half of the advertised run time. Using the self propelled feature on the lawn mower really eats up a charge. On the positive side, I do like the way my mower handles and I love not having to use gasoline... not for environmental reasons, but for ease of use and convenienceO.
