My wife and... I have had this book for over a year. We honestly have used over 100 of the recipes and have enjoyed 95% of those more than once! The ingredients are well laid out. Each recipe takes about 20-30 minutes of serious effort to prepare (plus cooking time) but well worth it. You'll need a good variety of spices, which are why these taste so good yet are low in calories... but honestly, you can't tell the sugar isn't in there and won't even know its low in fat either! The portions are large enough to be quite filling and yet has far fewer calories than the "typical" recipe for the same course. I've taken left overs to work for lunch and so far two co-workers have bought this book "after" tasting the results. These truly are some of the best tasting recipes out there, period. If you don't mention it's low in calories or fat your spouse would not know! I didn't know until I saw the book cover. You can't go wrong buying this book for yourself or as a gift!
I saw this cookbook on a shoppi...ng channel for a while. Watched as it was presented and saw some of the food cooked from it. It was developed for making healthier foods that still tastes good. I havent made anything from the cookbook yet but, have been looking at the recipes. They are made with ingredients that are better for you, list the nutrient info., and also has a comparison for the Weight Watchers point. And ingredients are mostly everday things you would have at home or that would be easy to find at the grocery store. There were a lot of these ckbks sold and quantity would sell out and it had good reviews. Hope this helps some. Thanks!
This has become my favorite b...ook. I love to make new things and love to cook. My fav so far is the orange chicken. I am actually losing weight and my meals are delicious! Also the fact that you can contact the author of the book with questions and she answers quickly. Just can't say enough wonderful things. I have told all my friends and this book will be purchased as Christmas gifts. I put a little tab on each recipie with my own ratings. LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!
I really like this cookbook. I have al...ready tried several of the low calorie shakes and deserts and they take great and have not affected my weight loss plan. I do, however, substitute agave nectar for splenda because I can't have the artificial sweetner. The cookbook recipes are easy and quick to do and there are lots of great pictures. I also appreciate the information included in the book about health information and certain ingredient information. I bought this book because my mother recommended it to me. We have quite a few people with diabetes in my family and I am starting now to take preventative measures.

From that point on, this cookbook turned into my post baby weight loss dinner planner. I have never owned a cookbook where I use more than 5 recipes until I got this one. We eat out of this cookbook often, and the recipes are just phenominal. My husband even loved everything, and he was not looking forward to eating "lighter". I would recommend this book to anyone - If you're on the fence, BUY IT!"
