The build quality is really great. My only disappointment is that I didn't by the Motorhead model for a little more money. It still works well on carpet but it does get bogged from time to time without that upgrade. Overall, it's a really good buy. I use it almost daily. As I mentioned, the build quality is great and the connectors are very solid. One issue is that the pieces are very expensive to replace and, though seemingly very durable, if you have disconnected the power unit to empty it, should you lean the extension against the wall and it slides down on to a granite floor, it could crack the connector. The factory should add hard rubber to absorb some of the shock. Can't ask for too much more out of such a compact unit.

We love our V6. It is used essentially every day for touch up around the house. We love the quick charge and the auto-shutoff when charging is complete. If I were to recommend something to Dyson, I would suggest a better transparent polymer for the waste receptacle.

I've always maintained that Dyson tries to sell high priced answers to minor problems, ie: "Loss of suction" in bagged vacuums or "Annoying Buffeting" from fans. But now that I've tried the V-6 in my own home, I think they should focus on advertising the performance alone. I went over the living room carpet after having done it the day before with our Kirby Sentria (a nice vac in itself) and was NOT prepared to see what the V-6 picked up. It was amazing. I can't describe it except that it looked like very fine versions of the normal dust, dirt and hair that fills a normal vacuum bag and there was a lot of it! I'll admit that I did this on the high power (battery sucking) setting but it was worth it for the astounding job that it did. The wife tried it herself and by the next week, we had another one for the upstairs of the house. So yes,,, wow!... Also, if you are patient, you can get good deals on them. I got my first one from a big box store for $240.00 and the second one new from ebay for $200.00, shipping included.Read full review

The Dyson cordless rechargeable vacuum is a great little vacuum. It is lightweight, easy to manuver and surprisingly good suction. My wife and I are older with back issues so this will make cleaning the house easier for us. It has a convenient charging station you can screw to the wall. So glad I bought it.

I bought this Dyson Vacuum for my wife and she loves it! Where one can't see dust or dirt it picks it up! It removes dirt or dust for tile grout and I think this will prevent the grout from looking bad. It is easy to use, empty and the bracket that hangs on the wall to store the Dyson is easy to put in place and...I installed it in the closet as well as a receptacle to plug the charger. The only thing that I would recommend is that the instructions be clear, not pictures but actual words. Either way it's easy to understand but I prefer words. We use this Dyson V6 on both title and wooden floors and there are no scratches on the floors!
