This camera will take a picture every 5 seconds during the day for over a month on new batteries and a 32gb card. I have pictures of people hunting without permission. I have pictures of owls, woodpeckers, turkeys, coyotes, foxes, racoons, and dogs. The only issue is that ants can get in the tiny holes at the bottom of the camera.

I bought two of these cameras from this company tactical_operation in February of 2014. They both died before then I've been trying to contact DAY6 Outdoors, their site doesn't allow you to send any emails to them OR answer their phones. Needless to say I forgot that I had registered the first two cameras and missed trying to contact DAY6 so my bad... two cameras in ONE SEASON. I bought another from tactical_operation again here in September. I decided to check that my registration for this camera was viable. Their site (DAY6) says my email is not registered... NOW... I did save the registration confirmation that the company sent me, BUT I cannot verify on THEIR site that this latest camera is registered? I tried calling them on several occasions and I have received nothing back. I would beware buying any of these DAY6 PRODUCTS since they are wantonly unavailable and CHECK that whomever you BUY this from is going to back up the warranty. My biggest mistake was buying them both from tactical_operation I think? Regardless these are at best ONE SEASON cameras!!! DavidRead full review

Over the years I have had and used about 12 of these cams. Currently I have 5 up and running. I just bought another one, so yes I can recommend it. However it won't last forever. I keep my trail cams in the field all year long. So my "PlotWatcher Pros" are strapped to trees and running continuously 24/7 rain, shine, sleet, snow etc. The only time I turn them off is to change the memory cards or batteries. Using them like this, they consistently last about 12-16 months. One has died after only 3 months but given my experience with them I expect about a year of heavy use. Although the image resolution isn't as high as other game cams, for time lapse and battery life this is the most practical one I've found so far.

easy to set up and long lasting batteries. It also takes wide angle shots and great distance photos.

I had a trail cam on my food plot and it showed nothing. I put this cam on it and it showed the deer were coming in and out at different spots. The only thing I don't like about it is the zoom does not give you a clear enough pic to tell what caliber buck you have. Now this could be my fault as I'm still new with this thing and I have been using the computer zoom. There could be something in the program to help. It works so I will try and fine tune my use of it. I have 5 trail cams and this one plot watcher. I like the cams better for the pics but I would have to put all 5 on my plot to show what this 1 plot watcher does.
