This is a low budget fair quality pedal. A... pretty decent delay, especially if you want to use as a slap back unity. I have two of these, on for each of my two sets. One thing do not work so well: the option long/short delay. As long as you don't have independent settings for the two types of delay, everytime you set one type, the other will not be the way you really want. So the extra footswitch kind of gets in the way when you step on the on-off switch (the two of them being so close), and eventually I really don't use the long-short delay feature. And, very important: you don't get that infinite delay with this unity. If you want infinite delay, go for others dano delays: the "Reel Echo" (a tape echo emulator) or the "Dan Echo", a two tone painting and bigger metal enclosure pedal. (the PB&J has plastic enclosure, and is a "mini pedal"). But, as I said, it's a pretty decent low budget pedal.
I would say that this is a great beginner delay. ...Definitely could still be used as professional. It depends on what kind of depths and accuracy you're looking for. As other reviews state, it does not have infinite feedback but it's enough to get the job done. Has decent delay timing. The feedback setting is not super precise so you won't get a fraction of an echo, it goes down to about one repeat. I really wanted it for the slapback reverby sound. The switches are a little tougher to activate compared to other Dano pedals in this series. The durability seems good enough. You do have to take care with it. It's not a brick pedal. The knobs can come off easily but this can be an advantage if they get knocked to not break, but simply fall out. They are easy to reposition. I reached out to Danelectro out of curiosity and they still have knobs for these too if need be.

This an awesome delay pedal. The ...switch between two speed settings is very nice. Great sound and the mix knob provides just what is needed to tweak dry and wet signal. Will buy another if this one is lost. I was looking for something inexpensive that sounded good to replace an RP55 on my pedal board. I was surprised by this pedal -- it is true how the money to manufacture this pedal is invested in the internal parts rather than the case. But the case is cool. You can't go wrong picking one up.
ITS PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME...DA...GO, DAGO...E.T.C. HERES ANOTHER REVIEW BY MY GOOD SELF, THIS TIME ITS THE PB AND J PEDAL. FANTASTIC PEDAL, YOU CAN GET THE ROCKABILLY SLAPBACK YOU ALWAYS WANTED, BUT WITH THE PRESS OF A BUTTON YOU CAN ADD A CRAZY RETRO PSYCHADELIC KINDA SPACE ECHO. THE GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PEDAL IS THAT YOU CAN HAVE IT OFF (OOH-ER MISSUS), OR KINDA HALF COCKED WITH A ROCKABILLY SLAPBACK, AND OF COURSE FULL ON SPACEMAN TIME WITH BIG BOY ECHO, ALL WITHOUT HAVING TO BEND DOWN AND RESET STUFF. THE DOUBLE BUTTON IS GREAT LOOKING TOO. ALSO THERE IS NO HUM OR HISS, THE PEDAL IS CLEAN, AND YES ITS MADE OF PLASTIC, SO LOOK AFTER IT!!!. I WAS LUCKY WITH MINE AND PAID ABOUT 30 BUX USED, BUT I WOULDA PAID MORE FOR IT. MY ADVICE IS.......IF YOU CAN GET ONE FOR 40 BUX TOPS THEN GET IT!!!. ALL THE BEST, NIC WHITE
this is a g...reat little delay pedal! it produces better sounding delays than other pedals that are twice the price! It gets pretty close to sounding like an old tape echo from the 70's which was the sound that I was after. Most other delay pedals don't even come close to that! It's quiet too! Only thing I can say that's even a little bit bad about it is that it's not built tough so treat it good. I would buy another one of these if this stopped working.
