I have an electric sharpener, but these are so ...much quicker and simpler to use. I tried several of the cheap versions, but they seemed to wear out after about a year. Just purchased this which is the same brand as my electric. All good so far as long as it lasts longer than the cheap ones. We'll see.

Did my research and liked what ...I read. Got the item and it felt really good. Tried it and it was not what I expected. Kind of cumbersome, doesn't sharpen as I had expected. Had to try it about 1/2 dozen times before I could get a mediocre edge. I had to finish my knife with the old fashioned dual washers sharpener to get a decent edge.
