I bought the book becaus...e it has great ideas for creating cake pops. The illustration and required ingredients are all shown in pictures, which it makes it easy for my small daughter to see and compare to the image on the book. The designs are well crafted and beautiful. The book is easy to open and lay flat or to put on a stand too read it. The book is well worth the money as it has been for me. Will recommend to anybody that likes baking those little things for creativity in the kitchen.
This is such a fantastic book. It gi...ves you all the tips and hints you need to know when making cake pops. It has recipes included and lots of fun ideas. I would recommend this book to anyone from beginers to experienced cake pop makers. I think the only downfall is that it uses alot of american candy which you cannot get in Australia, so it makes it a little harder to make some of the ones in the book. However, in saying that, there is so much variety in the book that you'll find something you like. Love it!!!
Great Book. Decorating was a little harder than I thought, but ...all in all the book is great for someone who is creative and trying new things. I made the Cupcake pops changing some of the ingredients and got rave reviews from the people that ate then... My daughter and I had so much fun with them. Can’t wait to make more…. O’ and make sure to set tons of time aside. They do take several hours to complete. -Samantha Long-
When I first started making c...ake pops I remember looking at it thinking what can I do with this. At the time I covered them in chocolate. Rolled them in whatever was handy, sprinkles, nuts, toffee, but not much else. I am the type of person who needs a creative 'boost'. Once I have that I am off and running. I never seem to get the first idea, but once I see that it's like the world opens up and the possibilities are endless. This book provided that type of inspiration. I looked at how it uses the basic shape of the cake pop. nothing more nothing less and applies that to what we see around us. That did it, ideas came flooding in on how to create, combine, sculpt and texture.
...Bakerella has outdone herself on this one! Recipes are super simple and designs are relatively easy to recreate. I made the yellow chicks pops for a baby shower and I made the graduation caps for a graduation party. The book includes practical tips and answers to questions for problems that might arise when making the pops. I look forward to making dozens more pops and creating all of the book's designs!
