bought this from another private photography website, but for some reason I cant leave a review for it there, so i'll leave it here. bought this to hold my 600mm lens/Canon 80D setup. has a weight capacity of 26.5 pounds, which is more than enough. its solid. the three legs are made up of 4 sections. the bottom section, the smallest, is still pretty good size. about 5/8ths diameter. came with rubber feet installed, but also came with metal spikes as well. flip locks are tight and solid. you can really feel them "lock" into place. the tension on the legs as you move spread them in and out is considerable, giving it a very tight solid feel as you position the legs. there are three fixed positions to the legs, but there are also lift nuts that allow you to bypass these fixed locations and spread them apart as far or narrow as you'd like. theres a big nut at the neck of the pod allowing the post to be raised. lets you get a good grip. I wish the overall height was a little taller. I use a Manfrotto "U" shaped head and its not quite the right height unless I raise the post, which makes it a little less sturdy. but its nothing to be alarmed about at all- the bottom of the post has a hook for a weight bag. for the money this is a great tripod. a lot of capacity and very sturdy I believe. i would recommend this tripod to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive, solid unit.Read full review
