Zildjian ZBT 16" CrashCymbal
About this product
|The Zildjian ZBT 16 inches crash cymbal produces consistently quick, bright and high-pitched tones, which is perfect for a concert performance or a school band. Constructed out of the power-packed ZBT Bronze alloy composed of 92% copper and 8% tin, this Zildjian ZBT is meant to last for a long time. This ZBT series cymbal is perfect for beginners and pros who want to expand their sound range. The Zildjian ZBT has sound grooves on top disc only. Excellent cymbal for the beginner to the gigging drummer.
ZBT Stands for Zildjian BRONZE technology.
This cymbal is made from a 98% bronze and 2% tin alloy that is sheeted then hammered and lathed just like the more expensive cymbals. The ZBT series cymbals are cheaper than the pro series but suprisingly very vibrant and alive with sound. Out of the box you will be happy with these cymbals if you are small gigging drummer with a light budget or a beginner with big aspirations.

Highschool bands and garage bands will love the projection of these cymbals and the crisp sound. My favorites are the 20" medium ride and the 16 inch crash. The rock crashes have a more sustaned sound while the regular crashes have a quick decay.

Do not clean these cymbals with anything other than water and a little soap. Dry them well. A few finger prints are fine and do not change the sound significantly.Read full review

Just the right filler for my drum set.
I'm not an expert on cymbals, but this one seems to be just the right item for my drum kit. The 16 inch crash can be used in a wide variety of ways and it doesn't overwhelm the rest of the sound, that is, the sound of the other drums and the overall sound of the band. I have a 20 inch cymbal--loud--and I still want to add another crsh cymbal of maybe12 or 14 inches

Material is of low quality
The ZBT with the old font is a better quality cymbal. I wish i would have waited and bought a used one.
