About this product
|Nintendo's best-selling exercise peripheral receives a new workout with Wii Fit Plus. Customized exercise routines are now possible, allowing fitness fans to mix-and-match yoga activities, balance games, and strength training exercises to fit a specific length of time. Those looking to address specific problem spots can also have the program automatically create routines to target arms, legs, and other areas. Whimsical activities include running across platforms, skateboarding, zipping across the beach on a Segway, flapping your arms like a chicken, and performing rhythm-based kung fu. After each exercise, you'll be able to see the estimated number of calories burned. The game is available in two versions: as a separate release for owners of the original Wii Fit, or as part of a bundle with the Wii Balance Board accessory.|

Kind of amazing
WiiFit allows me to do yoga without having to go to a class. And there are strength, aerobics and balance exercises, too.

I love the games for family time. The program is awesome, I can set my own routine and work out every morning before work. With the yoga alone, I have lost 2 lbs a week and toned my body. This gets you sweating and having fun at the same time! Totally worth every cent!

Wii Fit Plus (with Balance Board) (Wii, 2020)
I got my Wii Fit Plus a few months ago and I absolutely love it. I have had back surgery and have permanent nerve damage in my left leg. I spend a lot of time om the balance games because they are very helpful to me and my center of balance and coordination has improved. The yoga stretching helps with the back pain as well.

What I like about the Wii Fit Plus: I like how you can customize your workout and target the areas you want to work on. You can track your weight, calories burned and time spent exercising. You also get scored on the games so you can track your progress. I mostly enjoy the aerobic exercises - Hula Hoop and Boxing are my favorites. New with the Wii Fit Plus is you can add your pets to the game and weigh them. They show up in some of the exercise games. My kitten Henrietta leads the way for me in the jogging game and I love it!

What I don't like about the Wii Fit Plus: having to keep pressing "A" over and over in the games/exercises. It gets annoying. Other than that, I love everything about this game.

This is not a hard core workout and if your serious about fitness you should combine working out on the Wii Fit and going to the gym like I do, but it is fun way to exercise in the privacy of your own home. The Wii Fit Plus surpassed my expectations big-time! There are so many different options, and I discovered some awesome features I didn't even know about. For example, I LOVE the free step where you can turn on a TV show and keep stepping to the beat sounds coming out of the Wii controller while enjoying TV. I also discovered that you can make profiles for your pets and weigh them periodically in order to make sure they don't gain weight also. I was really happy with this since I recently adopted a cat and had been wondering how much he weighed. The balance games are fun, the aerobics actually give you a workout, plus you can do yoga and strength training. I still haven't tried all the workouts!

I think the best part about the Wii Fit is that it gets you moving. It keeps track of your minutes & calories burned, and it is really easy to get in 30 minutes of activity when you're having fun and doing different activities. Plus it is tons of fun playing with other people too and having friendly competitions. The Wii Fit Plus is well worth the price!!Let's face it right away, using the wii fit plus is not like going to the gym and working out for 2 hours. That doesn't mean this isn't a great game though. The balance board isn't as precise as possible, but it is pretty close. I like the balance games a lot. They are fun and you get a little workout while doing it. My favorite games are rhythm kung-fu, advanced step, snowball fight, and the ski jump. Playing the wii fit plus has also helped my everyday posture. The balance board showed me that I was actually leaning backwards some when I stood. Now it's more comfortable to stand for longer amounts of time. One aspect I don't like though is how off the BMI (Body Mass Index) is. I am a more muscular person and am by no means overweight, but in the game I am very overweight. It's something you just have to deal with I guess.
I think this game is especially good for older people who are looking for a way to put some activity into their day.
Overall, I think the Wii Fit Plus is a good buy.Read full review

wii fit plus great for all ages
About 18 months ago my son got the original wii fit. I thought at the time it would be forgotten about after a few months. About a year later he was still using it.He went from being a xxl to a large. He now looks buff. This past Xmas I decided to get one for my wife and I. We are active people but in the winter we hide in doors I watch movies and she would crochet. Come the spring we prepare our garden as we are now middle age getting back in shape is not as easy as it used to be. Not this year. This year there was no transition period we hit the ground running. We really didn't do much of the exercises except maybe a little yoga. We mostly did the balance games. My mother-in-law is a senior citizen had blockage in her legs has had surgery a few times to clean out her arteries. Well Mom started doing the balance games too she eventually bought one for her house. Last visit to the doctor he told her he was really surprised about how well she is doing and what ever she was doing she should keep it up.

The balance board that comes with it can be used with other wii games. If you want to have a blast try playing raving rabbids with a group of friends after about 6 cocktails.

This latest wii fit plus purchase was for my brother-in-law.

Our family now owns 4 wii fit plus's

The idea of playing video games and getting healthy was always unheard of. I asked mom did you ever think at 70 you would buy yourself a video game. It still blows my mind that there is a video console that is fun for all ages. On cold winter days I would tell the folks I work with that I am going to go home and bask in the cartoon sunlight. Our family can't praise the wii fit enough. A family that plays together stays together.Read full review
