Great choice! Total satisfaction.
Not only is the DVD quality great, but the special features are much more than I expected. Literary reference explanations, detailed booklets explaining characters and their roles in the plot-- even the box art is gorgeous! This is a great buy and worth the money spent. Not only is the anime visually stunning, but the plot is deep and complex-- keeping you entertained for hours and surly interesting enough to rewatch many times.

Its not for everyone, but some people will love it
Trinity Blood really isn't an outstanding series, but it has some very great moments. When discussing this series often you'll hear people say how the writers just took Vash from Trigun and put him in a world similar to Hellsing, and when someone uses this description they're pretty much spot on. The dialogue can get bad. They repeat and spoon feed you many of the basic plot points and quickly go over the information that actually answers the questions you may have of the characters. What this series does well though is give you a cast of interesting characters and outstanding artwork. So when you watch this series that is what you should focus on, and it isn't difficult for that to happen. The cities and environments to gorgeous.

Wonderful Series - Great Quality
The boxed set for Trinity Blood not only arrived in great condition, but also was worth what we paid for it. Nothing was damaged at all and the artwork on the outside cover was beautiful. The guides that came with the DVDs were great to follow along with the series and also displayed beautiful Japanese anime artwork. The DVDs themselves were great quality, from the sound to the vibrant color of the series. Voice-overs were excellent and the Japanese subtitles option was translated well for when we wanted to watch the show in its native form. The series itself was very enjoyable and the plot, while complicated in essense, was very interesting to follow. The colorful arrangement of characters was very well thought out. There was a character for anybody who watched the show, and they all were enjoyable in their own way. Any fan of the Trinity Blood series that has read the books will be blown away by the intricate detail and masterful artwork that went into the animation.Read full review

Slow to start, but interesting
This series is a little slow to start, but it's an interesting anime. Once you get past the fourth episode, the pace picks up and the end feels very rushed. The story is based on a series of Japanese novels (later converted into a manga) following the exploits of Abel Nightroad, a Crusnik (a kind of technologically created vampire).
I don't think the animators had time to cover some of the intricacies in the novel's plot so it may feel like it has alot of holes. The end left me wishing there was more. I had fewer questions than some people I know, but the the chief complaint I've heard is that the series fails to explain a lot. This is probably true if you're the kind of person needs everything spelled out in lavish detail. This series doesn't do that. Many things are left to the viewer to try and piece together or are delivered by brief flashbacks. I think its pretty straightforward myself, but others seem disappointed when the characters don't put things into words.
Overall, the series has beautiful animation and an intriguing post-apocalyptic story. I would recommend it to people simply because it does leave you wondering. (It inspired me to go find the novels and read them.) However viewers that prefer a very well defined plot that leaves no stone unturned may not like it at all.Read full review

Trinity Blood: Complete Box Set
I like it because I bought it on a hunch. Hard to explain, but whenever I am in the store, I take a look at something and it draws me to it like Hey buy me, Im worth the money.
So I did research, sounded very interesting so I got it at a good price 38.79, which is better than paying $70 bucks in store. It had an interesting concept of the Catholic Church fighting vampires with a vampire on their side. It has action, comedy and drama all rolled in one series.
Watched all of it in a few nights, and I absolutely loved all of it. Plus, towards the end, a twist really caught me off guard, which I love because it keeps me going into watching it.
It was worth the money, I highly recommend it to any anime fan that has not heard of it.
