Great action/sci fi film
Total Recall - Great action/sci fi film
One of the coolest movies to come out in the 90's. Total Recall features Arnie vs Arnie, and has one of the most original plots I've ever seen in an action movie.
The action scenes are awesome and the special effects are really good (amazing for their time). The cast is great... Total Recall just kicks butt, plain and simple.
Rent or Buy?: Would you buy one of the best cars on the planet? Of course you would, this is one of the best Arnie films ever made, so buy it!
IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. Thank you.

A really great movie.
This is one of several movies my wife and I have enjoyed for years now. We bought this primarily due to the fact that only the new version of this movie is apparently available on Netflix and our old VHS machine finally quit. As such, this film is worth watching many times. Highly recommended.

90s Action Film Perfection
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Total Recall, the classic total recall that is. Arnold Schwarzenegger at his very best. I lived this movie since I was 2, the year it came out. Thanks to my older brother, I was put on to the bestr films of the late 80s - early 90s and this is a classic example. Just watch it, trust.

Total Recall Remains One of Arnold's Best DVDs
'They stole his mind, now he wants it back'. Totall Recall gets lost among Arnold Schwarzenegger lure because of the success of the Terminator series and other earlier hits... but buried in between in 1990 was the smash hit TOTAL RECALL which featured a still young Arnold Schwarzenegger, a gorgeous Sharon Stone, and Rachel Ticotin. Also lost is that Total Recall is a futuristic thriller that really set the groundwork for future Arnold movies (End of Days, etc) and future scifi films on a similar premise - the conflict between the power of mind, memory and science... even movies like Eternal Sunlight of the Spotless Mind owe Arnold some credit. Total Recall is loaded with action, great Arnold one-liners, and more action. Total Recall is a wild, fun ride.

Total Recall Quotes
Lori: Doug. You wouldn't shoot me, would you sweetheart? Sweetheart, after all, we're married!
[Lori goes for her gun, Quaid shoots her]
Douglas Quaid: Consider that a divorce.
Douglas Quaid: Suppose this is just a dream, and I pull the trigger, then it woundn't make any difference?
Dr. Edgemar: It won't make any difference to me. But it will make a hell of a difference to you. Because here in your fantasy, I will be dead. And without me to guide you out, the walls of reality will eventually come crashing down around you. One minute, you'll be running from more assassins, next being part of the underground resistance, learning of the discovery of aliens in the Martian caves, learning that you're really Cohaagen's bussum buddy, defeating the bad guys, becoming the savior of Mars, but down on Earth at Rekall, you will be lobotomized! Now get a grip and put down that gun!
Kuato: What do you want, Mr. Quaid?
Douglas Quaid: The same as you, to remember.
Kuato: But why?
Douglas Quaid: To be myself again.
Kuato: You are what you do. A man is defined by his actions, not his memory.Read full review

"Great Sci-Fi Flick!"
Arnold Schwarzenegger and more star in this 1990
sci-fi film. In 2084, A construction worker gets an
implanted memory and learns he may have been
an agent. This is a great sci-fi flick and Rob Bottin
did terrific with the make-up effects as usual. This
dvd has nice picture and sound plus neat extras.
I recommend this.
