With a full terabyte of storage capacity, this drive can hold up to 17,000 hours of music, 1,000 hours of video, or 300,000 high-definition photos. Despite the size of its storage capacity, the drive itself is very small. A 2.5-inch form factor makes it ideal for smaller laptops and other devices with a SATA interface. The 8 MB data buffer and a spindle speed of 5,400 RPM equate to fast data access and short save times even when saving large files. It uses less power than the majority of 3.5-inch hard drives, which helps prolong the battery life of portable devices.

Lasted all of three months...one impact on the laptop and it was done....lost all info...garbage....invested in ssd drive...also didn't understand why but my oem drive which was the same as this one lasted almost ten years and the laptop was impacted several times in that timeframe....Will never buy again

I can't even begin to tell you how easy it was for me to install this hard drive and upload the recovery discs. Had I known it was this easy, I wouldn't have let this computer sit in the top of the closet for over a year. So glad to have my laptop back!

Toshiba SATA 2.5" Laptop Drive Review
I bought this Toshiba drive on past experience of being a computer technician and having worked on Toshiba products for many years. I've found them to be well built, reliable and rugged, and so therefore I didn't hesitate to purchase this drive when I was in the market to upgrade my laptop drive to a much larger capacity drive than was originally installed in my Dell Latitude E6510 laptop. So far, after several months of use, it's performed flawlessly and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a drive a similar characteristics.
