classic film ,well made and not over done
Classic Sydney Poitier film, still timeless with its message that Teenagers even in bad or poverty stricken situations can thrive and grow under the right guidance. I bought the movie because it is a classic film that gives subtle hints about modern day issues that face society's teen agers and how one person can make a difference . I wish the movie had addressed more of the prejudices. it is a very good film for the entire family

To Sir With Love
I have seen this movie when it has been on one of the pay channels and have always liked it.<br>Sidney Poiter is excellent as "Sir". I would recommend this movie to anyone. A glimpse of what it is was like in 60's London.

I really enjoyed this movie which was the story of a teacher in England who brought some basic education and hope to a group of teenagers in a poor and rough neighborhood. Sidney Poitier was superb in the lead role, and I liked the nostalgic feeling of the sixties the movies exudes. I always wanted to see the movie, so I took this opportunity.
