The Price is Right -- 2010 Edition (Nintendo Wii, 2009)
About this product
|Come on down, again, for more price-predicting play in this updated sequel to television's longest-running game show. Like its predecessor, this edition follows a similar format the television series, with the action divided into distinct phases. After selecting an onscreen persona, you'll need to bid on authentic items on contestants' row before advancing to one of the show's signature pricing games, from "Cliffhangers" and "Shell Game" to "Check Out" and "Plinko." The top three winners of the pricing games get a chance to spin the big money wheel to compete for the ultimate prize collection: a showcase showdown. Fourteen additional pricing games are included with this 2010 version, bringing the total number of activities to 30. The number of licensed items to bid on has also doubled, allowing for less repetition during subsequent play sessions.|

The Price IS Right with this game
This edition of The Price is Right for Nintendo Wii is a lot better than the first one. There is more pricing games, and the game plays more like the actual game show. In Party Mode, for example... you play contestant row three time (for all four players), and play three pricing games. Whoever wins the most money after three trips to contestant row and three pricing games, automatically goes to the showcase, where the remaining three players go on to spin the Big Wheel. Overall... I was a lot happier with the gameplay. It would have been nice to play with your Mii instead of generic characters, but I wouldn't let that ditract you from buying this game. Great idea for the holidays.
