I bought this DVD as a Christmas gift for my wife. he absolutely loves the old Carol Burnett shows and I thought that this would be a nice gift. She absolutely loved it and I was happy that I chose this one. The cast of the show reunite for an evening of memories of their favorite skits and they are hilarious. They give you insite for some of the most memorable scenes spanning the show's run on CBS. Watching this DVD brings back many memories and is great to enjoy with your kids, as it is excellent family entertainment.

Greatest Reunion show so far.
The all showed up for this show Vicki, Harvey, Tim and even Lyle Wagner was there. some people dont even remember him being on the show, but I do, I think I saw ever Carol burnette show ever made.. she was. is and will always be in my eyes the QUEEN on Comedy. no filth needed, no cursing, no nudity, no sex, no killing .. pure fun wwith out all the garbage that goesinto todays comedies.. you can't make a comedy today and sell it without sex, filth, partial nudity .. they wont even let it on TV without at Least one of those. I wrote in my other review of her other show that its sad that our kids of today would never get to know what true comedy is. its very sad. she will always be a bright shinming spot in the world of TV comedy.

Carol Burnett Show - Let's Bump Up the Lights!
Nothing like a cornball geriatric love fest to bore you to sleep if your NyTol quits on you. Unlike the Burnett shows of old when ad-libbing was king, this staged, thankfully short, commercial-edited 39-minute mutual admiration society is akin to old war buddies sharing a nog and rehashing the glory days of their youth. There are times Carol looks embarrassed for her wilting buddies who she has nudged away the soup line for one last hurrah. The setups for old clips are clearly setups, and each stretch for a quick one liner is a knee breaker in lieu of the intended knee slapper. Overall rating: Ouch.

Carol Burnett Bump up the Lights dvd
I always loved the Carol Burnett Show and enjoyed seeing again moments from the show's Q And A section. I laughed thu the whole dvd . I disliked that the dvd wasn't longer so they could have shown more examples of this great show. Highly Recommend this disk for anyone who wants a great laugh - many, many, many great laughs - thanks. I bought this dvd because I had the tape and wanted to preserve these memories on a dvd. - Big Laughs - Big Stars - WONDERFUL
