I found the club that fits my game to a tee.
the "r7" was not just a golf club, it was the beginning of a revolution in golf equipment from a company that was a major player in the industry on a quest to shake up the industry and get more than their fair share. Being a low handicap player I knew this driver and what it could do for any player. I bought it when it first came out and in a generous frenzy, gave it to a relative that I am teaching. when I returned to sanity, I had to replace it and I was very successful. This design does everything they say it does and is very well made. Trust in it comes very easy. I am pleased!!!!!

Great feel, distance and accuracy
I just purchased this driver to replace my old R7 425. I used the old one for six years three times per week. It was my favorite club. It developed a crack along the top edge of the face. I hit a high draw with it and rarely hit those "big misses" with it. I recently tried the newest Titleist, Ping, Taylormade and Callaway 460 drivers but found that they did not help my distance or accuracy.

The R7 425 is best driver I have ever owned or hit, and a bargain to boot.
This club is amazing, i tryed my bosses original R7 and the weight system worked on it, i could actually draw the ball. All the reviews said the R7 425 was more forgiving and the shaft was better and they were right, i can still draw the ball using the weight system and it is more forgiving than the original R7.The head is fairly small and looks great at adress, I am sure that the new R 11 taylormades are a better club with improverd technology but i can go 275 yds and be consistent with this club for 46.00 instead os 400.00, i think I,ll stick with this one.

Taylor R7 425 is all I hoped it would be.
The driver is real nice. It has a little smaller head 425cc as opposed to most drivers today at 460cc.I feel I can move it through the swing better without so much mass the larger drivers have. I don't have a high mph swing but I like the stiff shaft matched to the head. I also like the MWT ability to shape the type of swing I prefer. I highly recommend the club.

Best driver Taylor Made has ever made, now at great prices
I now own 4 of these 425 TP drivers. In my opinion this is the very best driver Taylor has ever made( R 11 might be exception)It has a great look at address and the smaller 425 head is much easier to control than the 460. The MWT allows you to change the ball flight according to your game, plus the TP model has much better shafts than the standard 425 hense the $799. original price tag with weight kit. These drivers are both long and straight , a good combination. Now that you can get these 435 TP's at very good prices BUY THEM!
