TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Graphite Shaft Iron set Golf Club
I got the stiff graphite and have no regrets.
I have about a 105mph driver swing speed/230-250 carry.
These irons, unlike a lot of others, actually live up to the hype.
The graphite shafts somewhat reduce the shock transmitted through the shaft into my hands and shoulders as compared to my Callaway X18 irons with Uniflex steel shafts. I really like the distribution of lofts/distances, but now I do have one more iron club in my bag (actually 2, since I've switched out my 4H for the 4i). The pitching wedge is one degree stronger loft (45 vs. 46) than the X18s but now I have the 50 degree attack wedge that fits nicely between 45* PW and my 53* cleveland gap wedge. I get 105 yds out of the attack wedge with a nice easy swing whereas it seemed like I had to swing the heck out of my gap wedge to carry 100. At the other end of the spectrum, I absolutely love the 4 iron and have (after objective testing and scrutiny) pulled my TM 4H out of my bag in favor of the 4 iron. I'm able carry 190 with the 4i when reasonable well struck.
I don't have much to put on the dislikes list.
The stock grips are a little small in diameter (though they fit me fine), so if you have long fingers you will likely want to regrip.
I don't think the heads are as pretty in classic sense as my old X18s but they function superbly and the red graphite shafts are very sexy.
One more note - these don't come with head covers (only used to use my X18 covers for extra protection in the travel bag anyway), or at least mine didn't.
As a result I bought a Sun Mountain Four 5 Stand Bag with the 14 individual compartments to try to prevent those lovely graphite shafts from knocking around on each other.Read full review

Taking my handicap south
Wish I had brought these clubs 5 yrs ago they average 10-15 meters more distance than my old Wilson irons, and give me more consistency in shot direction .I would like to give some negative comment to provide a balanced review. but these clubs really are good.

Out with the old, in with the old.
During a visit to our home for a family get together and golf, my grandson used a spare set of clubs I have. It was TaylorMade burners I put up two years ago for something new. He liked them so much I told him he could have them. I liked them too, so shortly after they left I started shopping for a set of the same brand. The set I found was brand new and perfect for when I blame my current clubs for a bad round and go to these which I always hit well.
