The Star Wars original soundtrack you must have !
Released in 1997, this version of the original soundtrack couldn't be found on the market for very long. As I had a previous version, I didn't buy it immediately, taking the "Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" first. But when I finally wanted to purchase the O.S. "A new hope", it was already too late.
Now and then, I've been looking for it, here and there, until, 11 or 12 years later, I decided to have a look on eBay. And here it is !!!
To me, it's the ultimate CD of "A new hope", the "must have". It's a double CD édition, shaped as a booklet with explanations on how the music was recorded, etc. The CDs contain the whole music we can hear in the movie, plus some other versions discarded by John Williams for the movie but which are interesting.
It's a beautiful item featuring the whole "A new hope" music ; I haven't been looking for it for such a long time in vain...Read full review

A COMPLETE and chronological soundtrack.
A great soundtrack. Literally every second of score heard in the movie is on this soundtrack. You can listen to the soundtrack in real time and know where you are in the movie, as the music is in order. No long songs here that are only heard for a moment or two in the film - every second of the soundtrack is in the film.

Classic Star Wars Music!
It's a classic -- perfect for the Star Wars party we are planning! It includes all the favorites from the opening, Imperial March, number to the fun Cantina Band music. Brings back memories from the very first film (fourth in the series, A New Hope).

I like this double Star Wars CD more because it is like a regular music CD: you don't need to see the movie to enjoy it. The music is not so fragmented and sticked to the movie action like other Star Wars scores and because of that the music flows and you can enjoy it a lot more. I've listened to all Star Wars scores but this is my best. Am I right?

A Modern Classic!!
This is a "modern classic." I was looking for Star Wars recordings from original motion picture soundtracks & had to bid on this!
