Excellent book. She doesn't claim all this wisdom as her own, but she weaves her experience together with other people she admires, and it works.

Do you feel as if you need Something More in your life? Here's how.
I bought this book as it was a selection for a reading group I belong to. We actually met last night to discuss the first few sections as we have decided to read, discuss, and do the exercises over a longer period of time rather than in one meeting as we usually do.

The book brought up some interesting views and ideas. Most interesting I thought was one woman who said she questioned the book's implying that perhaps her marriage wasn't as good as she thought. There were opinions that the author had written the book either going through or just after a divorce so had a specific focus when writing the book. After discussion, we all agreed that although the woman certainly didn't need "help" with her marriage, perhaps other parts of the book would resonate to help her in other areas of her life including discovering/remembering how she got to this point in her life, and maybe enhancing some if these areas.

I found some sections brought up good memories to think about and discuss. As a project to do on your own, I think the same would be true. Another section had no relevance to me. So I think one could read and think about those areas that have meaning for you, but also realize that one should read with a critical mind as well as this is not the "bible" on behavior, just one woman's opinion. There are exercises to do that one can do if one chooses.Read full review

This is my most read book after the Bible. I bought this book for my friend as a gift because I love this book so much. It is very inspirational and it helps me when times are bad and when times are good.

I have bought several copies after reading it, and have given them to friends. Sarah's common sense, gentle wisdom from hard learned experience is refreshing, empowering. This book is one that takes pondering under an emotional laser knife. I am going to finally buy a copy to keep for myself!
