excellent but beware of dimensions for certain laptops
I bought 2 of the Extreme 120. According to SanDisk website (http://www.sandisk.com/products/ssd/sata/), the write-speed is better than that of Ultra Plus models. I tried to boot 2 Dell Latitude E5430 (1 with Ultra Plus, 1 with Extreme II). Both showed same result in that regard. There may be slight difference, but it's not noticeable. The Extreme II has 8GB less comparing to the Ultra Plus, though. One important difference is in the dimension. The specs posted on SanDisk website showed both models are 7mm thick; where in fact, the Extreme II that I got was actually thicker by possibly 2mm. I'm not exactly sure of the mm difference, but it is for sure thicker. This caused a problem when using the Extreme II in the Latitude E5430. Since it's a bit thicker, it cannot be seated 100% all the way with the SATA connectors. The hard drive bay of the laptop can handle the drive, but there is a little notch at the corner of the bay that prevents the Extreme II to be fully connected to the SATA connectors. For that reason, I had to resort to using the Ultra Plus model instead. Just a note of caution as I was able to put the Extreme II to use in Desktop PCs.Read full review

Best SSD I've ever purchased !!!
I purchased this ssd as a system drive for a recent gaming build with a west. digital back-up drive. It was easy to set up and when all was said and done... I was pleasantly surprised. With my particular build, The computer goes from push button to desktop in 12 seconds consistently. Every click of my mouse has instant response. I have built with OCZ Agility 3 and Vertex 3 and was pleased with them in the past, but the quickest boot up I ever had with them was either 15-17 seconds. I only gave 4 stars for value as I believe all ssd's cost to much. I would be happy to see prices on all ssd's drop to at least 50 centsGig. If you are in the market for a good ssd and are willing to pay $1.00gig or so... This is the best one I've ever used, to date.

Every system should be built with SSD technology.
The SandDisk Solid State Drive has no moving parts so it consistently starts and shuts down quickly and efficiently. However, like any other drive you must provide regular maintenance to ensure peek performance. I believe that as time goes by and computer systems are routinely installed with SSD Drive the cost will come down. Upon searching the internet, you can find good deals. However, these compact and powerful storage system are still expensive. Yet, there ability, reliability and speed well justifies there cost.

its a great drive and i highly suggest it
I really like this ssd drive it has many good qualities way better then the kingston ssd drives. It doesnt over heat performs pritty good very fast boot times. Only faults i found were its a 111gig not 120gig like stated in description and id like to only pay $100 Dollars or less for a 111gig drive even if ssd. But compared to all the other ssds out there your getting a big bang for your buck especially if youve never tried ssd you in for a treat it changes boot time from two to three mins like with a rpm drive down to less then sixteen seconds boot time. And everything is almost instantaneous
