The good:
The Samsung Impression has a brilliant touch screen, a roomy keyboard, and an intuitive design. It offers a functional midrange feature set and admirable multimedia performance and call quality.

The bad:
The Samsung Impression has a proprietary headset jack, the camera lacks a flash, and keyboard shortcuts are few. Also, it lacks voice dialing and the promised battery life is rather short.

The bottom line:
The Samsung Impression isn't perfect, but it ranks high on our list as a messaging and multimedia phone.

The Samsung Impression is a really nice phone. The phone fits well in your hand, is pretty solid(though I did drop it and the back cover came flying off) and has an impressive touch screen. The touch screen is actually very responsive but not overly sensitive. The phone has a full QWERTY keyboard where the keys are individual buttons(which is convenient for big fingers.) The keys also light up which isn't always the case.
Texting is pretty convenient with a multitude of options. You can use the traditional QWERTY keyboard buttons or you can use the on screen full QWERTY keyboard. There is also an option where you can literally write a word with a stylus or your finger and the phone will translate that into your text message, pretty nifty!
The screen is large with a great display, especially when you are outdoors with the sun shining down. The camera is 3Megapixel which is great for ordinary photographs.
You have your traditional volume, camera and Lock button. Only problem is the Lock button is kinda hard to press due to its placement.

Overall, the phone looks good, is really easy to use(no complicated operating system) and is great for texters.
I totally encourage anyone to buy this phoneRead full review

Who the f--k needs an IPHONE?
I was drooling over the Iphone for a few years, but kept hesitating because of the REQUIRED internet. THEN I found this phone, and OMG!, who the hell needs an Iphone? This thing does everything AND BETTER, assuming you are NOT interested in the internet. Even WITH the internet this phone is STILL kickass!
The widget idea is awesome. You can drag whatever widget shortcut right onto the front screen, for easy access.

You will LOVE this phone, NO DOUBT.

I'm a fan :)
So, this is my first nice phone so I don't have a lot to compare it to but I have to say that I really like it. I don't have data on my plan though, so I have no idea whether the 3G thing on this phone works well.

Some stuff I don't like:
1) You cant listen to music on your headphones and charge the phone at the same time because it doesn't have a separate plug for the headphones. You have to buy an adapter or special headphones that plug into the same plug as the charger does.

2)Scrolling on the touch screen was really hard to do at first, even after a lot of practice its kind of hard to do without accidentally clicking on something you were trying to scroll past. Fortunately though, there are easy ways of getting around scrolling too often and it isn't THAT frustrating, just an annoyance sometimes.

3) Sometimes it won't send texts. Its happened 3 times in a month so it isn't a huge problem. All you have to do is turn the phone off for a minute or two and try again.

Stuff I do like:
1)Decent camera, you can even do some effects like sepia. I never wanted to carry my camera around before and now I really don't have to.

2) Aside from scrolling, the touchscreen works really well :)

3) Ok, so in general its hard to come up with specific things that I love about this phone. A lot of why I like it is that I don't notice how great it is. For me, its a very intuitive piece of equipment. If you don't know how to do something its really easy to figure out how with minimal effort. I got a memory card and I put a bunch of songs and 2 movies on there to keep me entertained at the airport. I love that the alarm tool lets you pick how many times you can press snooze and that the calculator can do logs and square roots and that the stopwatch does laps :) anyway, I take this phone everywhere and use it for so many things. All in all, I count it as an improvement in my life, not a hassle :) I would buy another one if (God forbid) I ever lost this one.Read full review
