No buyers remorse here! Better than the iPad 2.
Bought this tablet for web browsing and reading word/powerpoint documents, which it excels in! I love the fast internet browsing, the light weight and thinness + battery life. The tablet is very light and convient to hold with one hand while laying in bed. What blows about this tablet is that it does not have any ports for USB, HDMI or MicroSD. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. It's like a miniature computer, except no keyboard unless you buy it separately. I dislike the camera, which makes a loud snapshot when you take a picture.. And comparing to the iPad 2, this tablet is faster in performance, lighter/thinner, cost less and easier to use. If you want a tablet that delivers performance go with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, if you want a tablet that is all name brand, go with the Apple iPad 2.

**UPDATE 4/12/12: As of today, I still use my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I absolutely love it!! When I wake up, I check my emails and the weather with my tablet. The battery life lasts for 3 days for me until it reaches 19%; I watch one hour of streaming videos daily and I browse the web and use apps for about an average of 3-5 hours total. If you're still worried about the Galaxy Tab not having an Usb adapter or micro SD and SDHC ports, Samsung has an all in one adapter for those on Amazon for less than $10. Only con for me is that the battery takes about 7-8 hours to fully recharge, but other than that it's perfect and still up to par, if not one of the best androids in the tablet market. I can't wait until ICS 4.0 is released for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.Read full review

great product awsome price, very light weight and fun to have.
Great device love the bright colors very egronomic and light weight. Comfortable enough to lay down and read easy on the arms, easily customized to fit your lifestyle, run. Runs very smooth without a hint of stopping, even under heavy gaming the media loads up pretty fast, and the speakers are very much surround and lively with great sound quality, the camera however can use and upgrade in the pixle department but I'm satisfied with the capture quality. Its a fun smart device that blends in to any lifestyle bit its more media oriented that office fit it does have some office tools but not enough. Battery life I can't complain on because I'm satisfied with it, others may differ. Wish it had a slot for an SD card

The original 'goodie'.
I bought a new Tab 4, tried it for two weeks, and took it back to Staples. My Dummies book said to get a QR Code reader (which I did), but it wouldn't work with the Tab 4 - Tab 4 wouldn't focus that close??? No focus, no flash. Had other issues with the Tab 4 that I didn't like.
Bought this Tab 'zero' on eBay, and lo and behold, it focuses close, and the QR scanner works. For a bonus, the back camera has a flash! I guess that Samsung's only criteria for a new model is to make it cheaper and sell it for more money. So what if you have to cut capability and features..
So, why do I want a Tab 4????

Met my expectation and then more.
This tablet has proven to be all it was advertised to be. Samsung has done it again. (I have the Samsung Galaxy Note phone also) The screen clarity and touch is just outstanding. I'm still learning my way around. I bought it for personal, rather than business use and I also bought the Samsung stand/charger/keyboard unit and use that at home. I can use the tab in the way I do my pc for word processing, etc. so that's an added value. The response time is great and the battery life is excellent. I haven't used the camera yet and I'm still trying to decipher the file structure as I am with the Note so that I can control exactly where and in what directory I want to save things. I'm a retired systems analyst so I have to admit that I use it for practical purposes rather than a social media tool and camera for face to face conversations so I can't comment on those aspects. I thought this would just be another tech toy to amuse me but I'm finding I'm using it practically everyday. Well built, attractive, easily handled. The one thing I don't like is having the charger opening at the bottom because not all programs will allow you to tilt in the direction you want the top to be. I have a small unit that plugs into the Tab and has usb/card reading slots so I use my thumb drive a lot. It's awkward to do that with it being at the bottom unless the tab lays flat on the table. A minor issue I'm sure I'll resolve with use as I learn more. Great product but download the Owners Manual from Samsung for full information.Read full review

Ideal product for media consumption for people on the move!
This is a near laptop replacement for me. I rarely need to drag around a heavy laptop, as this tablet can project and work with all Microsoft Office files. I use it for controlling my electronic devices like TV, Blu-Ray player, Computer media playback and have configured it to access media on my network server even when I am away from home. I also use it to watch premium services like Netflix on my 54" plasma TV and cable TV channels with slingbox. This product is sleek and elegant and great value for your money.
