I have had this Audio Visual Receiver for about 6 weeks with heavy use and have had zero problems.

The HDMI switching has worked quite well although it could be faster, I am using it to switch between a cable box and a HD DVD player out to a projector. Since it only has two HDMI inputs, one more input would be nice but really is not an issue for me.

It does have a lot of features and a learning curve to go with them, however the documentation is acceptable and can be navigated easily once you learn the nomenclature. It is ready for 7.1 sound when it becomes available so that makes it somewhat future proof. Overall no buyers regret, I expect to many years of enjoyment from it.

Better units out there
Sound is good with many connections. Hard to see the front panel. Runs very hot, and had to install exhaust fan to keep it under 95 F. Makes a popping noise every so often and I don't know if it is a sign of impending doom. Would not pay to have it repaired when I can get one comparable. I will research better next time.

Great product. I'm happy I purchased it
This is a great receiver. Although it only has 2 hdmi ports. Since I have multiple devices I should have gone with a unit that has 2 hdmi ports. Other than that I enjoy the receiver very much.

Great receiver for the money.
So far it works very well. Better than my newer Demon unit that was sent back for repair. The sound is just as good as the Demon unit with better features available. The only down side I have experienced is that any change of listening modes is not displayed on my TV.

Great sound, plenty of power.
Overall the reciever work well. I upgraded from a 25 year old reciever so I would have the hdmi connections, ect. I also wanted to have a second zone to listen to music in, this unit has that feature, so we can still listen to the stereo in the sun room without needing anothe full system.
