Worth the cost and extremely satisfied!
Definitely like this item because not only do I have my Bose 141 speakers connect to it, I also have the Polk Audio PSW10 Subwoofer hooked up into it too... The price for this item was OUTSTANDING on Ebay, and I am definitely a satisfied customer. I also use the Pandora feature a lot since it is internet capable, and it really great when you have guest at home.
I do not have any negative reviews for this and it's well worth the money...

Great receiver for the money
Fantastic quality receiver for the money. Sound quality rivals much more expensive units. Setup is a breeze thanks to onscreen menus. You can spend more money and get a receiver with slightly better functionality and sound quality, but for the price this one is hard to beat.

More than Apt. Aesthetically pleasing. Afforable.
I needed a receiver to pair with my new 2.1 speaker set from Monitor Audio. Having invested much into those, I didn't want to spend a ton of cash on a receiver. At the same time, I didn't want to skimp out and not get the most out of my set.
The Onkyo NR509 provides an ideal balance of performance and affordability. I have my computer and cable box as occupying 2/4 HDMI inputs and I have my Wii occupying a component cable input. My HDMI output is a Panasonic VIERA TC-L42D30 (42" LED backlit LCD). And my audio out is the speaker set. So far, it's been a dream.
Set up is super easy. One can browse the manual and intuitively know how to set it up. I love the universal remote- I no longer have use for another. Watching cable with my speakers is fun. It's great to finally be able to enjoy the rich audio of on demand shows and movies. But the real pleasure comes when I listen to music via the auxiliary input - through my media player's line-out. The receiver and speakers bring my FLACs to life.
I'm by no means an audiophile. This receiver is affordable, easy to use, and isn't an eyesore (mine is black, not silver).
No noteworthy complaints here.Read full review
