A great movie to watch with the family.
This was an unopened DVD that I bought. It was in perfect condition and we watched it right away. This was a great movie to watch with our grandchildren ranging in ages from 5 to 11. We all enjoyed it.

I do not recament this seller for anything, her communication skills does not exsist. would have been more than Happy to work with seller if she had enough common decentcy to at least let me know what was the problem instead of ignoring me all together. since my preveouse bad experence with a seller, I now make sure that there rateing is at least 98 to 100% and at the time this seller had a fairly good rating and had been selling on ebay for a while, I now have learned to make sure that the seller has been on ebay for several years with only 100% rating, this hurts the ones that try hard to maintain 100% but due to an unrulie buyer there rating drops, I now will not mess with a sell that has not maintained 100% and have been selling for a long peroid of time. what is wrong with people like this that can not at least let a buyer know if there is a problem, I am understanding as alot of people are with honest people. bad bad bad seller.....Read full review

HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS MOVIE
SOMETIMES I RATE A MOVIE AS ANTI "HO-HUM" THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM.
YOU HATE TO SEE A BROKEN FAMILY WHICH IS THE PLAGUE OF OUR "MODERN TIMES" BUT THE MAIN CHARACTERS PLAY AROUND THE BROKEN FAMILY SITUATION.
PERSONALLY IT ANGERS ME TO SEE SELFISH PEOPLE BREAK UP A FAMILY BUT IT HAPPENS MORE THAN HALF THE TIME.
THIS MOVIE IN GENERAL HAS A LOT OF HUMAN NATURE BUILT INTO IT AND A FEW THINGS THAT ARE DISARTICULATED BUT IT IS NOT A FAMILY MOVIE IF MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD OF HOW THINGS REALLY WORK.
NOT FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14.
THE MOVIE IS UNPREDICTABLE BUT HAS THE USUAL HAPPY ENDING EXPECTED IN A FAMILY MOVIE.
IT PRESENTS IDEAS THAT ARE INCREDIBLY ACCEPTED BY THE CHARACTERS THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE EVEN IF IT YOU SAW IT YOURSELF.
NO FLYING SAUCERS OR LITTLE GREEN OR GRAY MEN BUT YOU KNOW EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU SAW ONE YOU WOULD NOT TELL ANYBODY ABOUT IT AS YOU KNOW HOW THIS IDEA WOULD PLAY BACK ON YOU.Read full review

Good Family Movie !
My pre-teen son, my wife and I viewed this last night on DVD, as this was not one we caught at the theater.
Ben Stiller played Larry Daley, a divorced father in this story directed by Shawn Levy.
I kind of felt for Larry, being a divorced dad myself. Larry had lots of ideas and dreams, but had a hard time getting them to come into being.
He is about to be evicted from his apartment in Brooklyn, so he accepts a job as a night guard at the Museum of Natural History. This would prove his stablility to his son and ex-wife who doesn't want him to see his son until he is more firmly rooted.
The strangest thing is that the elderly night guards who hire him ,(played by Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyke, and Bill Cobbs), fail to mention one major plot twist! At night when the museum is closed, everything inside comes to life!
No kidding! From Attila the Hun to miniature Roman soldiers, animals, a dinosaur skeleton, Teddy Roosevelt, Lewis & Clark, to Columbus, it is a big party at night!
As the new night watchman it’s Larry’s job to control the night festivities and show his son that he is more than an ordinary man after all.
Carla Gugino plays the female lead. Robin Williams is hilarious as always, this time as a wax figure of Teddy Roosevelt. Owen Wilson is a standout as a bickering miniature cowboy!
Good family fun! Good for a rental, and possibly for your Family Film Library if you are a Ben Stiller or Owen Wilson fan!Read full review
