Great little phone that doesn't require a data plan!
This is an awesome phone for girls! I don't know if a guys fingers could type on this keyboard. Works great; color change to function/number keys is cool; and easy to see. Love the keyboard. Not entire touch screen; but the buttons that are touch sensitive work great. The numberpad for dialing is touch sensitive and also works great. Screen is small but looks very nice. Have a pic of my pups on it and is very clear. Camera not so great; but works for quick shots. If you want a phone for Verizon and do not want to pay the high expense of the internet; this one is great! Only con to this phone is that it is allll plastic; so has that cheap feel to it. Other than that, works great and looks great. Got a case to fit it perfectly with a wristlet; so you can carry it on your wrist or hang on your purse; very convenient. Read full review

I bought this phone used on eBay to use with Page Plus I get mobile web, mms, text and talk. It works great. Good call sound no distortion. I thinks it is easy to use I had a smart phone that used a lot of data this is what I needed. It has everything I wanted. So far so good. After using for a while I found you can not take a picture and set it to a contact, I thought that was a basic thing you can only use the ones that are preset in the phone. My phone is draining the battery everyday I bought a new battery and it still does it. There is a lot of clicking to get to do anything on the phone.

Good until near death then it goes crazy.
I decided to buy this product because it seemed yo have good reviews and that it was pretty cheep. I liked it and it worked for around 2 years. I bought it used so it probably worked a total of 4 years?? The phone randomly turns off. The camera stinks pixel wise, the touch buttons are ubber sensitive, it randomly clicks buttons for you. Lastly, sometimes when your one the phone your face touching the touchscreen really messes with the call. Besides those problems as my phone is nearing it's death, it was a great phone got the job done, would not mind having it again, but when it is barley about to die GET A NEW PHONE.. or you will regret it.

Pretty Good Phone!
I decided to buy this phone when I realized that I'm doing more text messaging lately and I've been using the old 'tap each number three times' to get the letter that's needed. I've used a Razr since they first came out. I didn't want a smart phone (data plans, you know), but it had to have a qwerty keyboard and it had to have large numbers and good size buttons for this senior's eyes. The Motorola Rival fills the bill quite nicely. I like the phone very much. The slider works smoothly and the keyboard is exactly what I want. I've owned the phone for about two months now and have had no problems as yet. It does have a sort of semi-touch screen. You have to bring up a virtual phone pad to make phone calls that are not in your contact list, and so far, the touch screen has worked without any hitches. There are some cons, however. The touch screen aspect is very sensitive and I find myself having to remember to keep from touching certain parts of the phone. Also, the backlight on the qwerty keyboard is not very bright so it is hard to text in dim light. I have to be careful how I 'dial' numbers as well, although I don't use the virtual phone pad very often. These things are just minor concerns to me. All in all, though, I really like this phone and would recommend it to others! Read full review

There is always a reason a phone didn't sell, here is the explanation.
Well, I wondered how I could get a "new, in the box" cell for such a reasonable price. I believe this phone did not live up to its expectations. The problem seems to lay within the case structure. It fits badly, and will affect what you are doing by just not holding the phone in the right places, or light enough. It has MANY woderful features, and I could love it, if it were built "sound" (eg), writing a message.. if covers tweak, you are totally in another area of the phones features. or... its trying to delete your message, or any of a dozen stupid defaults. I don't send it back, because the seller disclosed what I should have figured out for my self. It didnt sell 'for a reason. (perhaps a dozen). I am not timed for an upgrade at Verizon yet, so am limping along. Is a pretty phone though.. The slide out keyboard is not illuminated well enough to make texting easy, Shame, like I said, it could be a great phone for someone older like I am. But when you have XXX amount to spend, you take what you can get. good or bad. I am living with it and a good sense of humor.Being over 70 means I am not easily able to learn how to operate a smart phone. this was touted as one of the first ones. (wrong!) Thanks for listening.
