I have used v3's and v3xx's for over 15 years. The v3xx is far superior to the v3. Very reliable but the batteries are a crap shoot. They usually don't last more than a year, sometimes you get a good one, sometimes not. I had a smart phone and gave it back, too much you don't really need. V3xx is extremely reliable and works great in Canada and Europe in GSM form.

Great phone for those of us that just need the basics!
Great phone for those of us that just need the basics. Have had 2 of these and love them for their ease of use, decent battery life and durability. I don't need a smart phone, touch screen, fancy camera, or app capability, so I'm not forced to pay for things I don't need.

Motorola V3xx ATT Phone
Let me start by saying that I only buy BRAND NEW and from US Sellers ONLY and I always get the ATT Version Razors so this review is on that basis.
PROS: I have worked for ATT/Cingular since 2002 and have of course dealt with many hundreds of different model phones in my time. The V3xx is an EXCELLENT phone one of the best that you can find on the market and relatively inexpensive(on EBay roughly $100 US) the reception on this particular phone is one of the best you can find its also loud (ringer and mic) and its pretty easy to use, also is one of the few phones that still has an available option for an external antenna if you work in oil field or treeing industries this could be very beneficial to you or even if you just live in the boondocks like me. I have dealt with thousands of these units in my time and have had great success overall with them in fact I have bought over 200 of them in just the last 6 months from Dec 2009 to May 2010 because in my business there is still a really high demand for these units.
CONS: Only real issue I have with this phone is that I can almost assure you no matter who you are and how you charge it that the battery will go out after almost exactly one year coincidentally most warranties are only good for year (but thats just a personal observation).
Even with all this said I would rate this phone as 4.6 out of 5Read full review

Can't go wrong with a Motorola
I have had several types of Motorola phones through the years & with various carriers. I have also had other brands, but when my phone was dying of old age I decided I wanted to go back to Motorola. I went to ebay for 2 reasons, did not want to be under a new contract & because AT&T does not carry the Motorola RAZR I like. I am not into the so called smartphones. Won't use all the features & don't want to pay for them! The RAZR V3xx is a nice easy to use but reliable phone. Has good clear sound, can't complain about the picutes I've taken. I made sure my phone was a new one & from the US. I have no complaints and have had the phone several months. I would buy again and deffiantly recommend to anyone.

to me, whats not to love
I've owned razr v3's for almost 5 years now & when they come out with the razr V3xx I had to have one & fell in love with them. I've tried several other kinds of phones & to me the razr's are compact, super easy to use & have so many fun features. I've tried almost every other so called smart phone out there but they are just to complicated for me & my husband. We recently discovered that the razr V3 xx has something called wake up call on them & now use them daily. I also have a Krazr & thought that feature was only on it til I found it on the V3xx's that we have. BTW this is under my stuff, tools, then dialing services, dial AT&T & then voice connect. You have to be in the service area for it to work. The only problem I've had has been hinges on my phones because I keep mine in my back pocket at work, if only I knew how to fix them I'd have 4 great phones because I have 2 that have broken hinges but still work good. I've also noticed as long as you charge them up as soon as the bars start to go down that my batteries last much longer. I've got 2 phones that I've had for several years& the same battery, my husband 4 gets to charge his & lets it go almost completely dead before charging & weve had to replace his battery twice already. But I hope this helps thank youRead full review
