Excellent overall feature set, superior usabilty in a mobile device
This mobile tablet (Droid 3, Milestone 3, XT883, XT862) is a very versatile, useful device. I prefer a physical keyboard, which it has, with nice raised/bubbled keys - easy to use to avoid typing mistakes. The mini HDMI port allows you to connect and output the mobile's video to a larger video monitor (like say the 27" LCD that I use); just make sure your monitor has an HDMI port. This is great for streaming movies from your mobile to a big screen! The Droid 3 has a powerful dual-core 1GHz processor, 11GB of internal storage, and a TF-card slot, supporting up to 32GB of additional storage. The stock ringtones on the Droid 3 are *AWESOME.* I listen to them all the time when I should be focusing on other things, lol. The Droid 3 has a 3.5mm headphone jack - what you need, to connect high-end/quality headphones. The Droid 3 has a real radio chip in it - not a mobile radio app, so you don't need a data plan to listen to the radio on it. You might need to root your phone in able to access the radio. Once rooted, you can find the radio's driver, an APK file, online. Just Google search for "FM radio APK Droid 3." You'll find it. The battery life is OK, and will vary with the activity of the phone: The Droid Does More, and the more you do with it, the more the battery will be depleted faster. So, get all the adapters you need: for the wall, the car, and USB to connect to computer (or other USB port). Other than that, IF it's an unlocked/GSM phone, know that the Droid 3 can switch to "GSM-only" mode, to save power for phone function.Read full review

Solid, reliable phone for those not needing 4g.
Yes, it is a 3g phone, and, for the most of us that is all we need. Motorola is known for its build quality and this phone lives up to that reputation. The audio is excellent for a "smart" phone, as so many others do everything else, but do not perform as a phone. The qwerty keyboard is a great feature for those that prefer it..If you watch your data usage, the battery life is fine. ..All in all. this is a solid and reliable phone that performs well and is durable. I would buy another.

Don't get it
The phone itself is great. But since it is flashed over to straight talk, it will not work proper. A lots of the stuff on won't work because so much of it is still somehow still Verizon. And you can't use it if you don't have a Verizon account. You can't get the Verizon junk off. I'm going to have to get another phone. This time I will have to get one for Straight Talk. So that's $67.00 shot down the drain. Plus it is very very hard to hear when you are talking to someone. Richard

Great keyboard phone - better battery life would make it awesome.
Bought this phone because i really wanted a phone with a physical keyboard & touchscreen. It is definitely a great phone! I did make the assumption that the front camera meant the phone supported video calling via 3G, but unfortunately you need to use a 3rd party program such as skype. Picture quality is o.k. - not the best, but as i use my phone mainly for sms it isnt a big issue. Battery life is a downside thou - Motorola advertises that the battery lasts up to 9 days, but i can only really get 1 day out of it, with moderate usage. However, in comparison to other smart phones, this phone definitely gets my vote.

My dream's Mobile
I have already received this great, smart mobile from the US. I was enthusiast by reading some articles about it in my country. What more and better a man can get from this category of Mobiles? What can you say about a little computer, a great Mobile? The newest operative system? It's really a complete business mobile with a real keyboard. I love to write SMS and emails with a real feeling of a keyboard touches. Here, you can edit your documents and presentations with an office program (Quickoffice), while you are on Taxi or on an airplan. And at least but NOT last, the great camera and the wonderful display to see films etc.. I recognise that I'm going slowly in discovering all the finesses (they are many..) and powers of my Mobile. Yes, I will go ahead and I'm sure I will enjoy it at last and forever.Read full review
