Would buy again & did for my husband!
I needed a new phone for work & knew I wanted a "smart phone". I did ALOT of reseach including asking all of my patients & clients what they had, what they liked/dislikes/problems, etc. (We have had Motorola phones & have been happy w/the durability for the most part.)

$ Brands stuck out at me from all of the research, Blackberry, LG, Motorola, & HTC. All of these brands had the needed reliablity, durability, & ease of use that I needed. It came down to finding the model that had the needed features I wanted.

I tried a notebook for a while & hated it, as well as not liking dragging my full-sized laptop with me, so I wanted a phone that could duplicate as much of the needed computer functions as possible. I have to surf medical sites for clients & patients, often (& downloading to print info,) as well as a decent camera.

I have clients that work for large corporations in the state that provide them w/great insurance, but no down time to make appointments to keep their health intact, so being able to text w/a reg keyboard was a must!

I have been able to sync my appts on the phone in my desktop & vise versa, as well as take notes & send to myself & MD's. I didn't explore the Blackberrys as extensively as some of the others due to not liking the size (I am a small, young woman, my field is chronic pain & use my hands extensively thru the day- but I had a hard time w/those little buttons on the BB. I am amazed how men use them!), however, from some of my BB using PTs, I know I'm able to do many of the same office tasks/functions they do!

I can easily check/answer email, sched appts...I have been wowed by this phone!

The Cliq has everything I need in the form of a phone, mini computer & camera to allow me to do my job w/ease. With a touch screen I might add! Way better than the Ipod!! I have not dropped a single call, as I do see some pts in home who live in very rural areas. I also live in a rural area & commute.
Not a single problem w/calling, clarity, etc.

I found the ease of which to use the phone wonderful! I am not commputer-savvy & easily found my way around how to work it w/out ever looking at the manual. (I don't suggest that though. That's a big character flaw learned from my Dad I haven't broken...! "Manual?? Who needs a manual?? Now hand me those screws!")

My husband saw my phone & had to have one, he's found "fun" functions I haven't bothered to look for, from making videos, photoshopping pictures, & MP3's.

The Cliq has the tools for the both the business end as well as those who want it for fun.

Hope this helps someone trying to decide!Read full review

great phone with alot of features
Its a great phone easier to text with than the cliq xt. I got this for my wife she had a cliq xt and hated the virtual keyboard but I don't mind it. Battery life is pretty good for a smart phone. I can go all day and then some on a charge. One of the features i don't like is the sensitivity of the touch screen as your scrolling you can open apps and or call people accidently, but i guess it will take some getting use to. The Google maps is an excellent feature thats very accurate and better than some stand alone gps units. The interface with facebook is good and i like Motoblur cause you can backup all your contacts and or delete them from the phone if lost or stolen. The Cliq gets better reception than my old Nokia.

The Motorola Cliq does it all!
The I phone is great but for half the price the Motorola Cliq does wonders. It also has a pull out keyboard which I love. I cannot stand the I phone touch screen, it's limited. Have to have a keypad. When its cold outside the I phone has heat sensitive key strokes like every other touch screen. So it cannot stand to the beast Android Cliq!!!!

This phone was an emergency replacement. After I got the phone it was a pretty good purchase and slightly faster than my G1 with somewhat better functionality. Overall the Moto CLIQ was a pleasant surprise offering good battery performance and ease of use.

I love this phone. Its easy to use and is very good for those who like to social network. Over all I give this phone a 9.5 out of 10 because there is one tiny problem with the motorola cliqs the media volume is WAY to low but that is something minor an update can fix that problem. I like the fact that this phone has a real qwerty keyboard and a touch screen qwerty but that's just me so if you are going to get a new phone get the motorola cliq its a neat little gadget
