Tactically awesome with a very fitting soundtrack!!
Great Movie - A classic to add to the blue-ray collection!!! An amazing look into the life of sailors and what it was like to live on a Man' O War ship. A very good display of naval tactics and trickery in psst cerntury naval combat.

A Great movie, thanks.
I have been waiting to see this on Blu-ray for a long time. It's so much clearer than DVD. I felt I could feel the sound better also. This is a must for any collector, A new way to look at the "New World" from an English perspective. I really liked the "Darwin" felling at the Galopicos Islands.

A must see masterpiece
Peter Weir at his best. Excellent performance from the entire cast, beautiful cinema, and not a dull moment.

Upgrade your movie experience with this Blu ray movie.
Master and Commander has been one of my most favorite movies of all time. So, when I got a Blu ray player, I knew a good test of the differance from DVD to Blu ray would be this movie. Watching it in Blu ray is like watching it again for the first time when I saw it in the theatre. Everything in picture and sound quality is amazingly good. This movie is beautiful in DVD, but breath-taking in Blu ray!
