One of my favorite CDs in my collection!
I bought this particular copy of the CD just to use in an artwork piece I am making that will include the album cover, the CD and a radio promotion poster. The music from Matchbox Twenty is engaging and addictive, whether it's the first time you've heard the songs or the 100th. If you have never heard any of MB20's album songs OTHER THAN their obvious hits, then you are missing out! Snap up a copy of this CD - you won't regret it!!

there's better choices if you like matchbox/rob thomas
I bought the cd for the song "If You're Gone." and wanted to listen to some other Matchbox tunes. I've got a couple of other cd's by Matchbox 20/Rob Thomas. I like them a lot! I'm not trying to put anybody down but you can get a lot more for your money, and in my opinion, a lot more listening pleasure but buying "Exile on Mainstreet" which is like their greatest hits... and then some. "Yourself or Someone Like You" and "More Than You Think You Are" are two excellent cd's with some great tunes on/not on the "Exile" best hits cd. If you like this band, who I think is excellent, spend you money on any of the other 3 cd's I mentioned

In my opinion, Mad Season is a very good CD. Rob Thomas' voice is simply amazing and I can listen to him over and over again. The majority of songs are great but my favorites are Last Beautiful Girl, If You're Gone, Mad Season and Rest Stop. My absolute favorite is definitely "Bent". Overall, this CD is highly recommended. If you have never heard of Matchbox 20 and/or Rob Thomas, give them a shot. You'll love them!

Mad Season By Matchbox Twenty
Well, I came to this CD via the back door. I fell in love with Rob Thomas' solo CD "Something to Be." As a result, I went out and got all of his earlier stuff with Matchbox Twenty mainly because of his poignant lyrics and fabulous voice.
This album seems to me to be a perfect grouping of songs for anyone going through a heartache or break-up. I hope that I never have to go through these things again, but if I do I will lock myself into a room for a few days with Rob’s poetry in “Mad Season” and just FEEL the pain in a deeply cathartic way and then get on with my life. : ). Plus I have always liked the song “Bed of Lies.”
Really, this is a great lost-love album and I am just into it for the genius.

CD, Mad Season by Matchbox Twenty
This is one of my favorite CD's of all time, and I misplaced my first copy. I was going through a very emotional time after a life changing accident and a boyfriend at that time rejecting me. This CD gave me hope and positive thoughts. I needed a relacement of the Mad Season CD I had bought from the music store.
