About this product
|For the first time since 1995, EA SPORTS introduces a new baseball franchise to home consoles and personal computers, one designed to be more realistic than past offerings in the Triple Play Baseball series. The batter-pitcher interface has been revamped to accommodate more strategic play. On the mound, players need to worry about velocity and the release point of each pitch; at the plate, players must decide on the type of swing based on the count and runner situation. |
Once contact is made, a picture-in-picture window will show the runner on base so players can see what's happening around them at all times. At the heart of the game is a franchise mode where players can draft rookies, manage injuries, negotiate contracts, and hire or fire coaching staff. San Francisco Giants announcer Duane Kuiper handles the play-by-play with color analysis by Mike Krukow. Design input and advice on gameplay was sought from such big leaguers as Tim Hudson, Trot Nixon, and Torii Hunter.

hit a homer with this awsome game
mvp baseball is an awsome game. it features the angels as the first pick in any type of game mode. you can either do a quick game and can chose from one player or 2 players. you can also make your own rosters for your team as well. you can play a season which in you can pick any team and can make any trade. although the angels won the world series in the franchise mode the red soxs are number one and trading is just like real life wiith player stregth and a budget. well hope this helps and i hope you pick this game you will be happy you did. although be careful before you buy it. it requiers about 1036mb so if you have an older compture you`ll have to download the smaller version which is abou688mb. it will also be slower but other than that it`s the same. 7577655mike

Well, if you consider it is from 2003 then you can't really complain about lower graphics quality. Still a lot of fun.
