LUST IN THE DUST
If your a "DIVINE" fan then this movie is a MUST HAVE in your collection.
He/She actually acted superbly!! No offence to JOHN WATERS (I really love ALL his movies)but the "sick" direction he relayed to Divine has its own nitch in movie history of very poor acting. Hence its "CHARM", but Mr. Waters' dose NOT direct this film. Lust in the dust is the epitome of western satire. Every old cliche in western movie making is made fun of. Surrounded by GREAT actors...Tab Hunter...Lainie Kazan...Cezor Romaro and so on DIVINE proved once and for all He/She WAS a truly good actor. Multiple suprises at the end coupled with non stop set up type joke skits kept me glued to the chair. If I didn't know better I'd swear Mel Brooks directed this film....Once again a MUST HAVE

A must see! Hilarious throughout. Tab Hunter is awesome
I had watched this movie several years ago when I was a kid, and I remember that it was very funny, anyway I wanted my husband to see it too. So I looked on Ebay and found the DVD of Lust In The Dust. It was even funnier than I remember. Absolutely loved it. Quite raunchy, but a real good one for a night of laughs.

Raunchy but family suitable.
This is a funny movie which I saw before, and just wanted a copy. For sure, for sure, it describes the multitudinous problems faced by gold-hungry preachers and ladies of pleasure in the old USA west. Some of this is slap-stick humour, but there are some really unexpected subtle places as well ... listen for the crunch!!It's described as "raunchy," but I find it family-acceptable for most families. Certainly not as blatant as some of the animated TV shows available today.

This is a great old cult spoof of a western movie.
I like western movies, and spoof movies. This is the best of both worlds. This is a great old movie. I remember when it came out in 1984. Funny, Funny movie.I really like the extras on the disc. It goes into the back ground of the making of the movie, and the back ground of the actors. Tab Hunter, Divine, and Lisa Kazan do an excellent job with the support of Caesar Romero.
