Every Single One I've Bought is Defective....Absolute Junk.
I've gone through 4 of these units, they all ended up with defects, broken parts, quirks.. I'm something of a techie and I've even tried to rebuild 2 of them, but they continued to have issues. If you do by some miracle get one of these docks to print a clean image, count your blessings because chances are the next one will be streaked, blotchy, half missing or not there at all. I even bought one that was advertised as "new in the box", and I saw it was defective as soon as I unwrapped it and tried to load the ink. On top of all that, these are no longer supported by Kodak, so you need to find ink, paper and accessories second-hand on eBay. My advice: If you're even THINKING about buying one of these, even if it's advertised as "like new" and looks like the deal of the year, STOP and buy something new. Subtract another star if you're not a techie and don't have patience for quirky equipment and for taking things apart. EasyShare? No, NIGHTMARE!!! In plain English, THESE ARE JUNK! Read full review

I now have two of this printer. One being used, one as a backup. Could not ask for a better quality photo. A bit slow but worth the time.

Bottom Line? Stick with what works!
Sometimes you stick with what works! I originally bought this camera and printer set about 15 years ago (1998). I bought it after buying and returning about a half a dozen others from a variety of manufacturer's. What was different about the Kodak was that not only did it take excellent pictures...the Printer Dock 6000 actually printed outstanding 4x6 photos. No photos on the printer paper anymore. Actual photos suitable for framing. Which was exactly what I had been searching for!! I loved it at first because of the photos it printed. I loved it more when it was always ready and waiting to take the next great photo! It has a variety of options from taking crystal clear close ups to movies, to high speed action shots and it does all of them well! It is simple to use....15 years later I have STILL not read the manual. The picture editing "easyshare" software makes editing photos a snap! I have never seen anything I like better! The down side? Kodak got out of the camera business and they don't make any of these cameras or printers anymore, however they do still support the Easyshare editing software. Also the printer paper although not unreasonable is a bit harder to find. However when my printer dock of 15+ years finally needed to be replaced recently I was ecstatic to find many of the available in the secondary market right here on eBay! Need proof this is an outstanding machine? 15 years later they are still selling at about 60 percent of original value! I may have to buy up a few to last me just in case mine ever does break down again! Read full review

Printer doesn't work
I assume the printer works o.k. but it has a serious problem for me. I will not run on newer versions of Windows. I did a lot of serious searching on the web and determined it simply won't work with Vista or Windows 7. It was worth a try though as it wasn't an expensive purchase.I am trying to find a good home for it.
