The Greg Kihn Band: Greg Kihn (vocals, guitar, harmonica, synthesizer, percussion); Steve Wright (guitar, keyboards, bass, background vocals); Gary Phillips (guitar, keyboards, background vocals); Dave Carpender (guitar, background vocals); Greg Douglass (guitar); Pat Mosca (keyboards, background vocals); Larry Lynch (drums, percussion, background vocals); Tyler Eng (drums, background vocals).Additional personnel: Joe Satriani (guitar).Producers: Matthew King Kaufman, The Greg Kihn Band, Glen Kolotkin, Kenny Laguna.Compilation producers: Harold Bronson, Matthew King Kaufman, Greg Kihn.Digitally remastered by Bill Inglot and Ken Perry.Rhino's Greg Kihn retrospective is definitive, drawing from each of the straightforward pop-rocker's albums, including all of his hit singles, and even continuing his long history of album titles built around name-derived puns (1981's Rockihnroll, 1985's Citizen Kihn, etc.). Kihnsolidation includes the hits "Breakup Song" and "Jeopardy," as well as the smooth, Hall & Oates-ish "Lucky" and the rollicking rocker "Reunited." Kihn imbues Bruce Springsteen's "For You" with a '60s sensibility that works especially well in the chiming chorus. While Kihn's albums had a tendency toward filler, Kihnsolidation includes all the strongest album cuts to complement the hit singles. "Madison Avenue" and "Any Other Woman," in particular, are real gems. Essential for any fan of Kihn, the Beserkley Records sound, or solid rock & roll. ~ Johnny Loftus

A bit hard to find and expensive but well worth it
I remember when Greg Kihn broke out on the scene in the early 1980's, a hallmark sound of pop lyrics with a true rock band behind him. Greg's best tunes through the last 3 decades are all contained on this one cd. Surprisingly it can be a bit pricey (I've seen copies auction for $8 + shipping before), maybe due to its scarcity and a whole bunch of us aging rock n rollers his tunes stay relevant yet today. If you've heard a couple of his very popular hits on your local classic rock FM station and that is all you know about him then you'll be pleasantly surprised when you buy this disk and find that every single song on it is great.

Kihn Still Rocks!
This cd has it all from Greg Kihn. As soon as I popped it in and started sampling through every song there were several that made me say to myself "I remember that one!" It is the best of and a great buy on E-Bay. Those 80's rocked and this cd will take you back there, just make sure you will be able to turn the volume up whether you are in the car or at home. Definitely a Saturday morning pick me up as you are cleaning house.....

Greg Kihn- Best of
I liked the collection but never purchased the CD until now. I saw Greg perform back in 1984 and had a couple of albums of his.
