About this product
- Product InformationThe country of Ikari has seen better days. Enslaved by a foreign power, Ikari needs help if it is to ever see freedom again. It's up to a couple of American soldiers, Paul and Vince, to liberate them.
In Ikari Warriors, you and a friend take control of Paul and Vince on their quest to free Ikari. Moving vertically through the various landscapes of Ikari, it is your job to shoot your guns and throw your grenades at any enemy soldiers that get in your way. But be careful. Your firepower is limited. However, there are many power-ups that you can collect along the way to make your quest less challenging. You can even blast away enemies with a tank and a helicopter at some points in the game.

just like I remember
Its just as I remember in the arcade; it even has that peculiar ending (you blow up the skull-faced boss, there's a hail of RPG rounds, but nothing happens after that) Infinite continue option (A-B-B-A) gives you the means to finish the game. all in all, a decent war game.

A classic 8-bit game!
Nothing can beat playing an 8-bit game on a classic system! At least coming from someone like me who grew up with the Ninetendo. Ikari Warriors should be counted among the top twenty Nintendo games. B, B, A. The magical code for continue after continue, providing hours of fun and the experience of playing the entire game from beginning to end. This should be in almost anyone's collection of NES games.

Sucks! Not even worth 1 dollar!
This game sucks. You die so easily, but there's a code! (ABBA), the only thing you can do in this game is to walk forward make the screen move

I grew up in the 80's arcade wasting quarter after quarter to get better and better @ the arcade games I played. This one is no exception. I used to burn @least $5.00 playing Ikari Warriors to pass the next stage. When I played the Nintendo version I was transported back to the classic arcade days. A great version that has all the sound effects and graphics as the arcade game.

Awesome game! This was a great game that I used to play when I was younger. An old school classic. Rambo type game, solo character taking on all kinds of armies.
