YOU WILL NEVER GET BORED OR FRUSTRATED OR NEED MORE OF ANYTHING!
I have purchased so many phones; since they were "invented" so I am older than dirt. lol...but I have become wise in electronics. This phone does it all for you and I am lazy. The only con is that it is a Google droid and they do not comply with HIPPA laws. When you download an app, you are basically giving them permission to own your phone information, use your camera and your inbox, texts,"no choice, BUT...they all do it? Google just lets you know! When we contact someone, do we really believe they are "singled out" anyway, I digress. Your on/off data control is under "wireless and networks, under settings" to "mobile network"connect to the internet" and it is not clear; it doesn't say data on/off anywhere. Never turn it on even to activate unless you don't have Wi-Fi. I learned the hard way. I spent so much money thinking data had to be on. Also skip all the "setup" until "after" you are activated on Wi-Fi if you have Wi-Fi, otherwise you are wasting data. FYI: Always "quit" Pandora radio as it keeps running in the background and thank God I had Wi-Fi, so didn't use my data in 15 minutes! lol. Wi-Fi is valuable! I turn my data on only if I need to go away from Wi-Fi & go on the internet or YouTube. With this phone you can download Netflix and watch a movie! YouTube is wonderful; Love Chayanne! I can't speak Spanish but just love the 6'4" Cuban from Puerto Rico. He was in Dance with Me, the movie w/ Vanessa Williams and Kristofferson! wow! I digress, This phone has more aps, over 650,000 to choose from so it will most likely be your last phone. I don't know what else a phone can do? Weather is on front, voice activated for help w/my eyes, texting too (voice activated)" As soon as you touch the area to fill in, a microphone w/keyboard comes up and tap and talk...until it gets your voice, it does make mistakes. Touch the space bar and re-speak or type it in manually, but I am lazy; this is the most typing I have done in a while! I love this phone. My 13 yr. old granddaughter loves it too! She won't give it up! When she saw the games, YouTube, Netflix, and shows, she was done. And the battery! Wow..I have the 2800 maH slim extended and she has the 3500 maH extended battery w/ door, she hardly needs to plug in and she has the "halo" for battery backup. We got it on QVC. It is on eBay, but I believe it costs more. We never have had to use it now that we have this phone. I do like the fact that when set on Wi-Fi only, it will allow a picture to be sent and received and use data just long enough to send it and by the time you check,& pause it to save, has gone back to Wi-Fi only! Smart phone! So no one misses mms or sms w/pics or long texts or attachments! The hardest part is remembering that all preferences are at the bottom of the phone, front, on outside, tap settings & ringtones are great, pics are super, 8mb! But to port all the addresses from one incredible to another, you must do so w/ an sd card, go to addresses, tap settings to port to or from an sd card. So I am looking. Had 8GB so I didn't think I would need one. But not talking them all back in again! Phone settings have everything you need to run this phone and I told you where it is.lol..I could go on forever but this phone is popular for a reason! Especially w/ page plus! "I only use page plus." never have to change settings going outside or inside to talk or text/ no data needed, and I set up auto pay online and never need to buy a card! Never have in years. DROiD X on MetroPCS
I purchased my DROiD X [Bad ESN] here on eBay in February to convert for use on the MetroPCS network and to take advantage of the incredible prices on these phones for a fraction of the Verizon price.
I had it fully Flashed over to MetroPCS-[for a small $50 fee] with Full Data, Web, SMS, MMS, Android Apps etc- Everything works perfectly and the Unlimited Everything plan is only $50.00 per month!
*You will have to get this done by an independent Metro Flash Tech/Independent MetroPCS dealer [there are a few reputable ones here on eBAY] as the Metro in-house flash service for $10.00 is unable to get the DROiD X fully functioning.
I also found you must use it with the $50.00 SmartPhone plan or the DROiD X wont be fully functional.
It seems that with the $40 and lower priced plans even though they say internet is covered, you wont be able to access any of the DATA services or connections. You'll get just a simple dial up basic web service.
So go with the $50.00 plan, its a 1X DATA or 2G connection which isn't too bad, Ive been using it quite often while Im out & about and it loads a web page or completes a Google search in a matter of seconds (about 5-7sec)
The GPS is fantastic and works great on the MetroPCS network as does Google Voice Search, Barcode Scanner/lookup and sending good sized MMS messages!
So while its a small sacrifice of not having a super fast 3G-broadband connection, I find this is outweighed by having reliable service and an affordable monthly phone bill that never goes up and never changes.
I couldn't be happier having the coolest Android phone on the planet at such a great price.Read full review

The HTC Droid Incredible; an amazing piece of electronics it JUST WORKS! :)
I upgraded from the Sprint HTC Hero which sibling to Verizon's HTC Droid Eris (the predecessor to the HTC Incredible) so the phone that I came from had a Qualcomm 528 mhz processor, 288 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM (for apps), a microSD slot which supports up to 32 GB, and a 1500 mAh internal rechargeable removable lithium-ion battery with the smart phone standards multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display, volume controls, ambient light sensors, 3-axis accelerometer, digital compass, A-GPS The display was 3.2 inch with 320 × 480 resolution HVGA, 65,536 color LCD at 180 pixels per inch (ppi) but NO proximity sensor (to make the screen go dark when you hold the phone to your face to talk, which the Verizon Droid Eris DID have...) and a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus but NO flash.
That being said, the 1 Ghz Qualcomm snapdragon processor, 512 MB DDR RAM, 1 GB Rom (748 MB available for installing apps which is nice) 3.7-inch WVGA super TFT LCD (or S-LCD) at 252 ppi with 480x800 resolution (Which is literally "incredible") and 8.0 megapixelback camera with auto focus and dual LED flashes with 720p HD video recording the hardware upgrades to Verizon's new "HTC Droid" are LIGHT YEARS ahead... The phone feels easily twice as fast. The only part of the hardware that was "lacking" is the 1300 mAh battery... A phone with such a powerful processor and half an inch larger display quite obviously needs more power than the previous model did.
The phone is VERY easy to use and responds much like the iPhone 4 does, faster at times and slower at others... I'd call it a draw as far as processing power. The phone lasts through most of a day on the stock battery but definitely benefits from the 1500 mAh battery (VERY cheap on ebay) from the HTC Hero or the Seidio 1750 mAh extended battery (which fits in the same space as the normal battery does) and can and will last through a normal day with 1500-1750 mAh. The phone is ergonomically as well as visually pleasing, and the 8 megapixel dual LED flash takes great looking pictures. The signal is good and it actually sounds like you are on a cell phone rather than a handheld computer running a "phone app."
I would recommend this phone for any Verizon or Cricket / Metro PCS customers who are looking for something similar to an iPhone 4 or a Droid X / HTC Evo. You will be MORE than pleased.
Thank youRead full review

Verizon - DroidX
I have owned this phone now for approx 6mo. I decided to buy it for the camera/video capability it has. Having a new granddaughter. I wanted to have a camera handy all the time w/out having to pull out My camera out of my purse. When I first got it, I said to them.."Well, I guess this will have to do a lot of reading to learn to use this phone!". The salesperson said to me, "No, actually it doesn't come w/a book. You can come in & take free classes every Saturday morning @9a.m." I thought.. "Are you serious?? 9a.m. on a Saturday to learn to USE MY PHONE???!!" Well, I just took it home & began "playing" with it. I have yet to take a class. And, I will have to say..this phone is VERY user friendly. Even though I have discovered it is like a "little computer" in your hand, I have yet to do anything to it to "mess it up". I've taken some GREAT pictures with it, videos, etc. It has setting on it like a camera. It's pictures come out good enough to print and share. I took a picture in the dark of the full moon & the skyline in my backyard (which is VERY dark) and, you could see the line of the trees with the glow of the moon behind it. If you are into "Facebook", it will take you right in there & it works just as if you were at home on your pc. It looks a little different since you aren't on a full pc screen. But, you can take a pic, click share, it will pull up another screen and give you approx 15 ways to share it. Whether it be facebook, email, txt msg, & many more. Within 5sec, your picture is live on facebook. I like this since it also has a satellite on it that you can click on in the facebook & it will pull up EVERY wi-fi near you. Most places have them. And, you can share where you took the picture at & just as in facebook it gives you room for a comment. Another GREAT feature on this phone is the FREE GPS that comes w/the unlimited internet/web access. It is SO accurate. It is comparable to one that you would pay $100's of dollars for to mount on your dash. If you make a wrong turn, it will zone in on your car & re-route you back to where you are going. Once you reach your destination & have slowed down your vehicle, a REAL picture of your location shows on your screen. So, no guessing. The picture of the house, business, etc is right there for you to see. Amazing!! No more need for "Map-quest" :) Also, while you are in any of these programs, calls can still come in, if you want to answer you can, hang up & the program picks up right where you left off before you got the call. It holds a good charge & charges quickly. The only thing that is a negative to this phone (and it's not a big-deal) is keeping the screen clean since you are always holding it to your face. But, if I'd buy some screen covers, THAT would be solved!:) The bluetook capability is great & works quite a ways away from the phone. The speed of the downloads & the internet is the same as the wireless pc that I use at home. No waiting, VERY fast! utube & you also can share anything from the internet & utube at a touch. Hit share, up pops a window, hit share & up pops your address book. My sister also has Verizon & she gets my shares within seconds of me sending. Another great feature..Free Pandora music, great sound w/equilizer. If I had it to do over, I'd buy it again. Thank you Motorola for once again creating a GREAT cell! And, VERIZON.. I wouldn't change a thing. I've been nothing but happy w/them. And, I have had other providers. I love my DroidX!!Read full review
