OMG Love it!!!
The operating system of the Palm Pre (webOS) was ahead of its time. Many of the phones features and user interface is now used by Apple and Samsung in their phones. The touch is quite responsive and the screen has nice resolution. The camera takes nice pictures. I love this phone for its organization apps as well that come stock. WebOS is what this Palm uses and is still the only mobile OS I know that truly gives you a feel of multitasking at its easiest and fastest. The price is good.

Solid webOS experience. If you love webOS, you'll love this phone.
This is an incredibly solid phone, and really fast! This is the phone webOS was always meant to be on. Good high density display and a large keyboard make this phone beautiful and easy to use. Touch to share works beautifully. Many available apps, though most aren't designed for the widescreen so they leave a gap at the bottom of the screen. This will be fixed over time. Could used some better features to enable more advanced apps to be brought over, but the underlying OS experience is without parallel. A great buy!

HP (or someone) needs to bring this phone back into the mainstream!
Love the Pre3!
Super fast... sooo much nicer than my old Pre+

If you're like me with 15 yrs of data on the PalmDesktop and not wanting to migrate to Outlook (crappy data architecture) or putting private data into a public cloud, get Chapura's Echo to sync the data back- the latest version working with WebOs2 was just posted to HP's App Catalog. Works great!

The flagship phone webOS never got.
The HP Pre3 is the last in the line of webOS smartphones. The AT&T version on eBay was never officially released but it runs well on their network with full 4g service. The phone is very responsive, the operating system is snappy with the 1.5 Ghz processor, and the phone has built in flash support. The phone also supports Touch to Share and SMS forwarding with the infamous HP TouchPad. This phone is honestly a steal at under $400 for an off-contract phone. Get it while you can and enjoy the hard work of the Palm team that HP didn't see the value in. Be sure to pick up a touchstone charger while you're at it to enjoy inductive charging.
